As we begin the final day of the 2010 U4Prez General Election I would like to take this time to lay out why I feel the Erock/Smashey ticket is the best decision.
#1. As Wiz so eloquently asked a few days ago: Who the hell is on here more than Erock? The answer is simply - No one. Not one candidate has been more dedicated to U4Prez than Erock. It could be said, albeit unfairly, that Erock had time to dedicate as he was searching for employment. And while that may be somewhat true, name one other candidate who dedicated time when they had it. No one is as dedicated to U4Prez as Erock. He dedicates more time to debating issues on the site than any other candidate bar none. A part time President he will not be.
#2. The other campaigns have been non-existent. Sure Brin wrote an issues blog before the vote even began suggesting that Lucky was bi-curious for BD but where has he been all week as issues were being debated? Maybe Nintendo is more important to him, I don't know. I like Brin but does he really want the responsibility of being the President of the site? I don't think so. KT has been on this week carrying the load for the campaign but has spent more time asking erock questions than answering them and the campaign has laid out no unified front on the issues. I just don't know if they have the time to mess with it. Sure Lucky finally put out an issues blog after I mentioned that Erock and I were the only ticket to do so and he has been on debating this week. That brings up the million dollar question: Where is BD? It seems like their campaign has been more like weekend at Bernie's. Lucky has been hauling BD's big heavy baggage around and trying to make his lips move but it's just not the same. It appears as if Lucky is Chippetto to BD's Pinnochio. I wont even get into the voting scandal. I supported it at first. I understood the premise when it first began but after no changes happened what was the point?
#3. I read Kempite's blog about leadership and I must cordially disagree. Not all 3 tickets have shown lack of leadership. I pose this question to everyone: Who better to lead U4Prez than the most dedicated candidate for President and the VP that can reach across lines and bring together the masses to better the site or the President who has deferred all debate to his VP so far and the ticket who's claim to fame is running up vote totals to make a point that didn't change anything?
I think it is obvious. And if all else fails I promise to assassinate Erock and rule alone!!!! ;)

I deffinitley don't think we have good choices for President. Erock is dedicated to the site, and I share a lot of common ground with Brinmat, but as far as the tickets go, the Brinmatt/KT2020 ticket should be reversed, and so should the Erock/Smashey ticket. I don't know why Lucky even gets to run for president.

He may watch the site without logging in. It is not impossible, nor is it necessary to find out who is active here and who is not. I'm not saying he is as active as he probably should be, but so far as his role in this election goes, I believe he is qualified.
i see the online users ... i have the entire year even after they removed the online user list from the home page menu. if he is showing up on the site ... he is not logging in. do you actually believe he just watches the site without logging in? i find that hard to believe but i am not saying that it is impossible ... just not probable
Being online is not the same as being active or real. Just because he does not post or interact does not mean he is not keeping an eye and observing.

I contacted real people and made sure word was out about the election and to get behind our candidate. You may have noticed that for the first time the GOP was united in support for our candidate this year.

Just admit that you failed your party as leader Austin because you didn't show the dedication and you didn't hustle up enough candidates and try to get enough to come back as the Independents. 1400 messages were sent out urging candidates to vote for the Independent. You sent out how many for the Republican party??????? none?????
I did not count but around 40 to different people I have known in my two years on the site. I don't believe that all are going to return to vote, but some will and it will help. I do not believe your 1400 were all real people. Your mass email was a waste of time at best and at worst a way to claim that any vote for you deemed as fake could be argued to be one of the people you pmed

The Indy leader sent out 1400 pms to candidates to get them to vote for the Independent Candidate. As Republican Party leader how many pms did you send out?
It proves there are active and real people who voted for either erock and brin, and can have an effect on the final score after fake voters are trimed out

They were quite a bit of the active and relitivly active independents. Along with people such as Hub city, RSobien (i don't know if he voted for erock or brin but know it was not you), ND Fan, who is the only real moderate I have meet here.
Remember ... Austin is the Republican leader ... his opinion is obviously going to be biased in favor of the Republican candidate.
The overwhelming majority of Americans think the Republicans and Democrats are failures and they are.
That is a very small number of people who were actually Republicans in real life.
You are forgetting how many independents, regardless of how big the group is, support either erock or smashey because they either agree with them more or have issues with you and BD. I am aware of many independents that voted Republican this year.

It's not fuzzy math. It is what was what the count was on wednesday when matt trimed it at the final time. So far as I remember. If my numbers are incorrect, I will acknowledge that I was off on Sunday when the final results are in. I trust you will do the same if your memory was incorrect.
I like the fact that you now think that you know enough about legitimate scores that you would pick the Republican candidate to have the highest vote totals even though Independents on this site nearly double the other parties combined.
NICE ... by the last count Erock had 16 legit votes ... I had 25 .... Brinmat had 12. Nice fuzzy math there austin.
I do not believe that erock and brin really have their current vote totals. But like I said, Matt is going to trim them down to the legitimate votes. It could be that all of the votes since the Wednesday trim are fake, in wich case erock would end up with 24, you with 8, and brin with 10. I don't think it will be that drastic though as I believe you have all recieved some legitimate votes since wednesday. But like I have said, I am not worried as I know it will be fair in the end, no matter who wins.

The major difference is that you cheated yourself, for yourself. erock and Brin did not ask anyone to cheat for them nor did they cheat themselves. That some people did vote for them with fakes is something that they could not stop and falls on the site admins more than them. Although the admins are fixing that now. It doesn't matter that you were honest, the action was still just as wrong. As for who has the most legitimate votes, we know from the last trim that erock has at least 24, you have at least 8 and brin has at least 10. Good luck.

I hope they do because I am sure I have the most legitimate votes to pull out the win. I find it hard to take you seriously when you attack me for being honest about cheating the system while you don't publicly denounce the cheating for Erock and Brinmat. The major difference this year is I was honest about cheating while others have cheated the site and/or accepted votes from those who have cheated on their behalf as long as they were winning they didn't mind.
Actually lucky, you accused yourself of cheating at many times throughout the year. The pm you are thinking of is one where I recommended you to not cheat. As I thought it would do you and the site better. I'm not really fighting to the death, I don't need to. You can desperately try to deny that you are cheating but it doesnt matter what I say about it, everyone knows you are anyway. Including Matt and Gurr, who are going to review and trim down the votes according to the fakes. So I'm not worried about the matter anyway as it is taken care of.

Many of erock's votes have come from people I have contacted who have been part of the site, such as ND Fan, eaglescout, Libertarian Hill, I also sent emails to Tyronecarr and Trish, although I do not know it they voted. Also, you are ignoring the fact that many independents and libertarians voted Republican this year instead of Indy being that it was a ticket that appealed more to their views.
Oh ... and by the way I openly told everyone I voted your score up and I used up my fake profiles on the first day. Those votes were removed. So far I am the only one on this site who has been honest about how their vote totals are adding up.
Erock. Yes there is. I took a screenshot immediately of our scores immediately before they started voting and I sent the pms to Matt. It is totally verifiable. JD, Rhodie, dude1234, lolliswirls, candycane, coolkidd, singmysong, greenerpastures, sniperboi, rawr.xoxo in less than 2 minutes voted for yours and brinmats camaign. The time is stamped on the pms that I sent to Matt because I sent the messages right after it happened. Along with the screenshots of our scores right before the cheating began. It is obvious that they are not striking the fake votes for other candidates .... actually the only fake votes they struck so far are the ones on the first day that I blatantly did while Matt was online and he removed them. You actually gained 2 votes out of that you did not earn ... so I guess Matt was giving you a gift.

I am sure that Mario and Luigi who voted for your ticket last night you would consider legitimate but they are not. I know you didn't do that .... you have others doing it on your behalf but that is still cheating. No. My premise is that we are getting out the vote to real candidates better than you are because you know that you 35 votes are bullshit. There are not 35 regular candidates on the site to vote for you. We pm'd candidates to get them to come back to the site to vote for us. We took the extra initiative to get legitimate candidates back on the site to vote for us. I am sure we pmd alot of fakes too but we didn't have to rely on their votes like your campaign did because we pmd enough candidates to get them to come back and vote for us to make the difference. Our campaign is the only one that could legitimately have this number of votes.

Actually, no campaign worked harder than the Lucky / BD ticket for the win. We sent out pm's to over 1400 candidates to get them to come back to the site and vote for us. Did Erock do anything like that? Hell no. Did Brinmat do anything like that? Hell no.
So your entire premise that Erock should be elected is that he is loitering online more than anyone? I disagree with your assessment on that.
I know I am not funniest guy or have the best wit here on u4prez but I do learn from my mistakes and I am dedictated to fix the issues our nation faces and working to improve the site I hope I can count on your vote.
