The Erock/Smashey administration would like to announce it's official endorsement and use of the Candidate Based Site Improvement Center as the preferred way to compile all candidate site issues into one central location to allow better tracking and management of all candidate site issues on U4Prez. The site may be found at the following: http://www.u4prez.com/ProfileView.aspx?UserID=6196
One of the many ground breaking ideas from the mind of Republican candidate Kempite, the Candidate Based Site Improvement Center is a centralized location where all U4Prez candidates may debate site issues as well as ideas for site improvements. It is the belief of the Erock/Smashey administration that it would be a dis-service to the membership of U4Prez if we did not recognize and utilize the forum that Kempite has created as the best way to compile all issues and ideas for consideration by U4Prez moderators and ownership.
We recognize a need to bring concerns, ideas and issues to U4Prez ownership on a united and coordinated front. It is our belief that Kempite and the Candidate Based Site Improvement Center provide this front.
It is with great pleasure that we announce a coordinated effort with Kempite to utilize his Candidate Based Site Improvement Center as the official forum for getting candidates ideas and concerns passed on to site ownership for consideration.
The Erock/Smashey administration thanks Kempite for his dedication to improving U4Prez for everyone and also for his allowing us to endorse his site as the 'official' site for issues and ideas to flow through. His effort and dedication to the site are greatly appreciated and are to be commended.
If you have any questions regarding the Candidate Based Site Improvement Center please contact the Erock/Smashey administration or candidate Kempite. We will be happy to assist you in any way we can.

I will concur with Kemp in regards to this being completely different from the U4Constitution. We are not drafting a solid set of rules to govern the site. We are compiling different issues from all candidates in one location so it is more easily accessible than searching 300 blogs. If there is a global issue that a majority of candidates on the site are bringing up it will be easier to bring it to Gurr's attention if we have the ideas centralized in one location to show him. We all know that it is up to him to act on them and we are not claiming to be able to make him. All we are doing is putting all of the concerns and ideas into one easy spot so it is more easily accessed and we can pinpoint the global issues everyone has a little better.
Olivia/Arjay's personal challenges notwithstanding, the fact remains his call for some self-policing as well as an increased administrative presence around here continues to have merit. Otherwise you guys wouldn't be revisiting the very same issue two years later, right? Granted his specific (and very lengthy) proposal was, shall we say, unworkable - and I told him as much the moment I saw it - but even so it was the concept I supported. Exactly how it was done was a secondary concern of mine. As it turns out the whole thing was DOA then due to rabid "how dare we suggest how Gurr runs his site" opposition, and more importantly profound indifference from Gurr himself. I could have handled things better myself. Had I known at the time Olivia was going to out herself as a total fraud only days after I appointed "her" as chair of all this, well, I wouldn't have done it. That incident, I have to say, was the final straw for me here after a very contentious and unnecessarily mean-spirited general election. So if you want to know why I disappeared, that's a big reason why; it's quite difficult to give a damn about something when it's obvious no one else is. But anyway, it sounds like we have a better sense of consensus on the matter than we did two years ago, and that bodes well for Erock. The big question is Gurr. As was the case two years ago, if he doesn't want to go along with it this thing is dead. It would also be quite helpful if Kempite refrains from revealing he's really a female in her mid-50s residing in a central Florida trailer park. ;-)
U know I am sorry but all lucky and BD seem to do recently is come on and bitch about the site.
Sorry but that point does not apply here. First of all, that whole concept was an ego driven distraction spearheaded by a sicko with sixteen different personalities and egos that, she/he/it, needed to have stroked and many of you did. Secondly, this is nothing more than what it claims to be "centralized location where all U4Prez candidates may debate site issues as well as ideas for site improvements" What is "dooming" about that? This site platform is for serious discussions and a source of record for what we want, what we hope for and how we think we can get it accomplished. It is also a place for the owners and operators of U4Prez to see how serious we are and perhaps take us seriously. Just because you all could not agree to a constituition or each individually adhere to it, does not mean that a thinking process is "doomed". If thinking is deja vue, than may we all have a lot more deja vue in our lives than mindless jaunts down Ego Road with a confused, imaginary cross-gendering taxi driver who poured Cool Aid down your throats for kicks.
Lucky has a point. This is deja vu all over again. I wish you guys luck. You'll need it.
Lets see in a few wks we are going to be getting some stuff. Plus sorry but why take LC who shows up now and then seriously? I have already contacted Gurr on several issues.
Oh ... Brinmat showed up ... it a gay cartoon on the page?
Bottom line is we are at least going to try and centralize the issues and take them to Gurr. He will either do something or not and you are correct we are powerless to make him do anything if he doesnt want to. However he is more likely to if someone is not manipulating the system after their point has been made already. Driving traffic to the site will be a good start. Driving it away through manipulating the system was not. You may be right and we may fall flat on our ass in our attempt, but at least we will make an attempt in good faith.
I think you forgot about the U4prez Constitution that crashed and burned because it was powerless without Gurr. I recall Erock being the loudest candidate against it. It kinda reminds me of this. :) http://www.u4prez.com/ViewCaucus.aspx?CaucusID=276 4
"Hey Lucky, when your only contribution to this site is to manipulate voting, I don't think you have room to talk about any other attempts to improve the system." - Smashey +1000, Lucky -5000
What we offer is a different way of going at it. manipulating votes and trying to make Gurr look like an ass on his own site got you nothing but beaten by Hillary votes in the GE. It's not what you can do it's how you approach it. You are correct in the fact that if he doesn't want to spend the money nothing is getting done, but trying to do something in a way that centralizes the concerns of all is worth the try. Its at least better than manipulating his system. I agree your expertise could be of a great assistance but hammer Gurrs ass every 5 seconds isnt going to make him want to work toward anything.
Actually, I have offered to help build a mobile site for U4prez, i have offered to check out Ip addresses and contest them, I have offered to do numerous things ... that is why I'm laughing at you guys because you can't do shit. All you can do is beg Gurr to fix the problems. Really, you have no power and unless Gurr wants the problems to be fixed. I have offered many things and my own time which = money and Gurr never took me up on it. So in short I have the time and expertise to improve the system which is more than you can offer which is begging.
Hey Lucky, when your only contribution to this site is to manipulate voting, I don't think you have room to talk about any other attempts to improve the system.
By the way .. i noticed you couldn't put a link to the site improvement center in your blog. lol
lol. Is this the Eric Gurr campaign improvement center? If not I'm skeptical as to the effect it would actually have. I have seen numerous posts, blogs and bills on this site and really they aren't worth the computer screen real estate they take up unless Eric Gurr decides to make the improvements. Is he asking you guys to take requests?
I have a feeling that is why it hasn't been fixed yet. Not sure though. I have been complaining for months about the search feature and requested that LC get it fixed. I am sure Erock and Smashey will do a great job of getting er' done. :)
I gocha. I can't say I know anything enough to know what can be done. But I have also noticed the trouble with the pics and links.
I agree austin but i don't think its gonna happen because if you look back through the profiles and stuff the comments are broken. Links and pictures and everything else looks screwed up and i am not sure its fixable.
Silly Austin. Atom bombs would obliterate the paved roads anyway, so why not aim for the top?
I think that should be priority number one. To go after anything bigger first would be like a country building an atom bomb before they have a paved road.
no
Is the search engine fixed yet? :)
It would help if I typed the name correctly in the title of the blog. ;) Oh well. You get the drift.
