It ceases to amaze me! Bernanke has a degree from MIT in Economics, and years of experience dealing w/ the financial system in this country. He has access to information that we only see bits and pieces to. Yet, he is questioned and ridiculed when he states what we must do to fix this economy. Paul Krugman, a Nobel Prize winner, gets the same treatment. But, when it comes to "Joe the Plumber," he is an icon and represents the view of the average American? Perhaps the average conservative would be more accurate. Enjoy the video!
I dont get it. First of all, did you mean it does cease to amaze you or it doesnt? Not knowing that answer moves me on to the fact that in my world... a pretty liberal Democrat state, This guy is the average American. Guess what? My name isnt Trish214 haha... I know plenty of people who use different names, nicknames, pseudos, annons, and none are criminals. I know plenty of people who owe taxes, and soon will owe great chunks more! Hell... I owe taxes! Its not April 15th yet! Geezus! If the guys profession is a plumber, and he plans to own a business, well duh, thats what he would represent when asking questions in a field of strangers... to his would be President... inqure about his future! Whats so shocking? I dont get it!
Jowe the Plumber is an idiot. His names not Joe, he's not a plumber and he owes so many taxes, Obama should've put him in his cabinet. The guy has no real knowlege of anything and makes it well known everytime he speaks. If Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin really are average Americans, then average Americans are idiots.
Joe the plumber is a lovable poster-boy and not much more. Anyway, I don't think it is so easy to classify what an average American is. We're diverse. That's kind of the whole point of this country.
