You know there is no real evidenc ethta supports limbaughs claim that 30 million people listen to his show. Its estimated that more people listen to him than any other conservative radio, or television show. But no one has done a real survey to find out exactly how many people tune in. Rush's claims to the size of his audience, like most of the things he says, is bullshit he just made up with no basis in fact. I don't know if Limbaugh is the real leader of the GOP, but I hope he is. One good thing that Bush, Cheney, Palin and Limbaugh have done, is start thje destruction the Republican party. Thank God.
"for wishing the president would fail and that plagues would hit America." ... that last part is thanks to Biden, not Limbaugh.
For the most part, I listen to Limbaugh pretty much the same way I listen to a lunatic raving on a street corner. Of course, that could be said of me with the majority of commentators, conservative or liberal.
Hawk, I have listened to Rush off and on for 15 years now. So, I have been a part of his ratings for awhile. I do not mind listening to opposing views; even if I do flip the bird to my radio every once in awhile. (I heard the "James Earl Ray dserves a medal of honor" moment live; and context or not, it was inappropriate.).....I know several Democrats like myself who have listened to Rush once in a while for years. You conservatives really think that ya'll are the only ones listening to him? Nevermind. I forgot about the conservative bubble.....MF
I see the left is still attacking Rush... I bet his ratinf will be up 25% next week. keep it up guys! Rush thanks you. I know the reason you all are doing this, but, it is not working. You should pick another distraction. Maybe Monica could get into the whitehouse somehow and give Obama a knobber! That would be a distraction. This Ruc=sh thing is not working for you.
Oh, and Friday hates puppies. Seriously Imagine, you think that Rush thinks slavery truly had merits and wasn't just being sarcastic to prove a point? You don't even know the context of his statement. All you know, like Progress, is what you googled. No, David. Saying that James Earl Ray desreves a medal of honor, or that slavery "had its merits" shouldn't just get under "lefties" skin. It should get under human being's skin.

Hawkm do you really think Limbaugh gets so much time because people hear him speak and say, "this guy has good ideas."? No. He gets airtime because he's constantly saying outrageous things. The only reason I've been talking about Rush is because he's on television constantly now for wishing the president would fail and that plagues would hit America. Rush is just out for ratings. Thats fine. He has freedom of speech, but he doesn't sway the vote. The conservatives that listen to him only listen because they want to hear it. Liberals listen to hear the absurd things he says. The left isnt affraid of Limbaugh. Its not like the left wing is going to convert because of Rush. He's a fat drug addict. I'm tired of hearign about "values" from people liek Limbaugh and O'reilly that do drugs and sexually harrass people.

This is great, I bet Rush is loving this... You guys are so scared of Limbaugh, you can't stop talking about him. This is the 3rd or 4th blog concerning Rush. He already has more listeners than any other host and you guys are helping to bring more. I am sure he thanks you. Keep it up, he has more than 20 million people tuned in during any given 15 minute period, are you guys trying to take that to 30 million?
