I've been meaning to write a blog about this.
Most of you know that recently White House environmental advisor, Van Jones resigned from his poisition. From the Republican outcry, one would've though that Van Jones mugged an old lady...or wished a Muslim a happy holiday.
But why was Mr. Jones put in a position where he felt he had to resign?
Van Jones has the radical past of an insane extremist. In 2004 he...signed a position questioning the Bush administration's involvement in the 9/11 attacks. Naive maybe, but radical? Even though the 9/11 truth theory belongs in the same bucket of batshit as the birthers' theory, this is no cause for resignation.
But what I think really upset Republicans is that fact that Van Jones once said that Republicans are "assholes." You know it's a slow news day when stating the obvious gets you on the nightly news.
The attack against Van Jones was lead by Chairman of the Republican National Committee, Glenn Beck (also known as Glenif*ck). I wonder why the alleged independent rushed to so viciously deffend Republicans. I wonder if Beck would've been this angry is Karl Rove said Democrats are assholes. But that's besides the point.
Why didn't the White House stand up for Van Jones? Why is the White House letting Glenn Beck dictate?
I don't blame Jones for letting some insults fly. The man is frustrated that even though the Republicans are in the minority, they are still running the show.
But you have to give the Republicans credit. Whether they are the majority or the minority, they get shit done whether it's good or bad. The Republicans got every policy they wanted during the Bush years, and now with a minority in the House and Senate and a Democrat in the White House, Republicans are still getting everything they want.
With the Democrats in control of the White House and both houses of Congress, the Republicans have been able to force a presidential advisor to resign, damage the health care bill beyond real reform and kill energy reform.
But maybe all the credit isn't due to the Republicans. Maybe Republicans are so good at getting things done because the Democrats are such pussies. That's right. I said it. Democrats are pussies. I hope Glenn Beck doesn't call for my resignation!
Democrats need to grow some balls or ask Republicans to borrow theirs. If the Democrats don't push through real reform now, then when?
The Obama administration needs to put the audacity back in the hope. The year is almost up, and I have yet to see change I can believe in, and I'm running out of hope.

I'm not answering mroe questions about illegal immigrants. Its a bullshit arguement. We already have laws to stop illegals from signing up. Also, there are no death panels in the bill. The bill allows money to add thousands of new health care workers every year in order to combat the shortage. What else did you want to know? By the way, this blog is about Jones, not health care.
I believe I have critcsized republicans many times. If you had been around here for longer than you have you would know that. Now, would you like to actually defend your positions by answering my questions about the plan, or are you going to continue to run your argument on the racist, ignorant hick partisan argument?
No, you wouldn't be doing the same thing if it were a Republican. Over the past 9 years Republicans proved that they aren't consisten with their standards. They stage big protests against Obama big spending and big government but they voted almost unanimously for every expanison of government, every instance of big spending, and every instance of unthinkable deficits when Bush was President. The one and only reason Republicans are against Obama is because he's a democrat. Republicans cheered big government, the demonization of dissent, big spending and big deficits when Bush was president. In my opinion, Republicans ahve no credibility left. The Republican party is based on hypocricy. That's why the Democrats need to kick them to the curb and represent the 70% of us who are not insane.
This clown was a supporter of Mumia Abu Jamal, the cop killer. Was a member of STORM, some retarded marxist organization in California. Amongst is other activities, its easy to see where he is leaning. The guy didn't even want the job. If you apply the same standards as the treatement of Trent Lott being forced out of his postion of Senate Majority Leader for his Strom Thurmond comments, then this call for his resignation by Reupblicans and Democrats together seems only fair. The taxpayers should not be paying this clown to advise the President on any functions, when he is so stupid as to even suggest the government had anything to do with the collapse of the twin towers.
I would be saying the same thing if it were a republican 'czar' making those ignorant statements. Instead of trying weakly to discredit me ,why not put your money where your mouth is and answer the questions I posed to everyone in favor of the health bill? That is if you care to add some substance to your stance.
What's radical? And so what if he is a radical? Why are radical conservatives supposed to be our heroes but radical liberals are unacceptable. And what's with all the LIbertarians going above and beyond to attack democrats and deffend republicans? Aren't the libertarians the socialy liberal, fiscally conservative third party? Yes, they are. I like the libertarians. I shouldn't slam all of them just because u4prez republicans put L's next to their name to try to gain street credit after they voted twice for a big government, big spending, big deficit creating retarded guy.
Using race is what you do when you can't make a point on substance. Nothing racist about why Jones resigned. There were many video statements pointing to his more radical than most mentality. obama didn't vet well, this is what happens.
You using Huffington as a source is like a republican using newsmax. Face it, Jones got busted because he's a radical, he quit and Barack isn't begging him to come back. he stuck up for Rev Wright longer than he stuck up for Jones. He's out
Jones isn't a radical. He signed a 9/11 truth petition. THAT'S radical? And no one cares what Beck says about ACORN because ACORN is not run by the Obama administration no matter how much the tin foil hatters say it is. Saying it over and over doesn't make it true, even if it makes more idiot believe it. Further, I find it fucking hillarious that Republicans are calling Jones a racist and thanking Beck for telling them even though Beck is a racist himself. This is not to say that all Republicans are racist. They surley are not. But on the other hand, if you're a racist, I bet you're a Republican.
Actually, the Huffington Post ran an excellent article on the actual reason Jones was forced to resign. They seemed to be the only ones interested in the actual story. They're also the only ones who brough the "Bury Obama Care with Kennedy" signs to attention as well. I posted an article about that. You may want to read it. It's smething you Republicans should really consider.
Funny though how lefties call Beck everything in the book and discredit him but he pointed out Van Jones radical past and he is out. He points out ACORNS bs with the prostitute sting and they are out. Seems he may be on to something that no one else is covering - the insanity and radicalism that Obama surrounds himself with. Notice Barack isn't begging anyone to come back.

Imagine, just because Van Jones is as radical and racist as you doesn't mean he deserves a place in government. I mean seriously, you think we need someone who accused whites of polluting black neighborhoods in charge of green jobs? He has less experience than Obama, and this is seriously the best man in the whole country for the job?
