Me and Senator Kennedy hardly agreed on anything political,if we did at all.And I certainly think he got off easy when it came to the notorious 1969 Chappaquiddick Island accident involving his one-night stand,29-year old Mary Jo Kopechene, and that God himself will handle that situation as he sees fit. That aside, however,I won`t deny being one of a handful of conservatives who actually admire the Final Brother in America`s unofficial Royal Family, the final Chronicle in the nearly half a century long story of Camelot.
I do not admire Senator Kennedy for his political stances,or aspects of his personal life.I admire his courage,I admire him for his nearly 60 years of service and devotion to his country, including serving America in Vietnam in the Navy from 1951-1953,beginning when he was just 19 years old,and being the third-longest serving Senator in our nation`s history.I admire his steadfast determination in all that he did,in securing civil rights legislation, more equal rights for women, for the better education of America`s children, and,in the final political fights of his lifetime, the fight for better healthcare for all Americans, and his unwavering will to be a crucial part in a historic moment that all Americans can and should be proud of,politics notwithstanding, the election of our first American American,Barack Obama.
Despite having been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor just two years ago, this cancer did nothing to affect Senator Kennedy`s support and will to help Obama in his historic march to the White House, and as suffering as greatly as he undoubeblty was, nonetheless,he made what was assuredly a painstaking and almost unendurable trip from his home in Massachusetts to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago two years ago,and gave a memorable speech that rivals his speech at the Democratic Convention speech nearly thirty years ago in 1980.After the attacks of September 11th,2001,he took the time out of his busy schedule to personally to call the families of each victim from Massachusetts who died in that horrific and cowardly attack.Me and Senator Kennedy may not often have agreed on the issues, but I can admit that his passion for what he believed in was what made him great, and indeed one of the greatest members the US Senate has,or ever will, have.
Nearly six monthes ago,American lost a great man,a man who was devoted to his family, and his country. And on what would have been his 78th birthday, all of America, both Republican and Democrat, can say thank you for the service he devoted to the nation he loved, both as a Senator, and, more importantly, the sacrifice he made when he enlisted in the US Armed Forces in 1951,sacrificing not his life, but his time with his family, his freedom,so that we back home could continue to enjoy our freeodms. So thank you Ted Kennedy, and may you rest in Heavenly peace.

Tonight,I confirm that I have officially returned to U4Prez as an active candidate who is actively supporting the Presidency on this website.I have participated in debate, yes, but it has been almost two years, since 2008,that I actually considered myself a candidate on here;merely,an observer and commenter on the blogs and in the debates that go on around here.
And as Hillary Clinton so famously stated during that same here during the real-life presidental campaign,I`m in it to win.I will do what is neccesary to prove to you,my fellow candidates, that I am the right man for the job.As a fiscally conservative and more socially moderate,I have something for everyone, both Republican and Democrat, and in the coming days and weeks, when my profile is reconstructed,I believe what I say there will prove just that
Over the next few days,I will be making efforts to have my newly constructed profile up for viewing by no later than February 28th,one week from tonight.By then,I hope I intend to reiterate my conservative stances on issues such as protecting our citizens and bringing criminals to justice, and express more liberal tendencies like declaring my support for gay marriage and the legalization of drugs. We need to crackdown on illegal immigration and find ways to better protect the borders of the United States. We need to come to an agreement on a fair and appropiate health care plan for all Americans. We need to find ways to reduce the federal deficit. We need to find ways to protect the American people without violating any of their precious freedoms granted to them by the Founders of our great Nation. We need to find ways to make everyday neccesities more affordable for Americans, and to help those who are currently without work and desire a job.We need to end a long-lasting era of hatred and extreme partisanship in Washington. We need to start doing right by the citizens of the United States of America, not try to continously line the pockets of the CEO of banks and insurance companies. We need to stop handing out ridiculous bailouts to banks and start giving out tax cuts to the Americans who so desperately need them more to feed their families and insure the keep their homes than AIG executives to plan their next vacations to the Caribbean Sea.I will let you know exactly where I stand on these issues, nothing more, nothing less. The consenus amongst our fellow Americans these days is that government is broken. Our disagreements come about as to how to fix it to better serve the People who elect our Representatives to office to do right by THEM.The People not work for the Government, the Government works for them.

| After much consideration and weighing of all of our fine Presidental and Vice Presidental nominees this year,I have decided to vote based on my principles, and declare my full and unwavering support for the Conservative Ticket in this race-Erock-Smashey.Erock and myself may not agree on every issue out there in today`s World of Politics, but he and I,as well as his VP,Smashey see more eye to eye on the issues than I do,with Brinmat or Lucky. Both of those candidates are fine people and are great assets to the site, and I wish to make it clear that this vote is not a swipe towards either of them, but my vote is based on political ideology and political ideology alone, and for this sole reason,Erock-Smahsey gets my vote.

BOSTON-Former President George W.Bush, known for being one of the world`s most notorious criminals in all history, was arrested and charged yesterday with paying two great white sharks off the Coast of Massachusetts to attack and eat as many liberals as possible, paid for from his hundreds of trillions of dollars from all that oil he gained in his illegal and Poland-like invasion of Iraq in which he deliberately and brutally slaughtered millions of Iraqis, thus making him the most genocidal dictator in history. The complaints against Bush were filed by ACORN,recently crowned the Most Fraudlent Special Interest Organization History, and the Center for Certifably Insane Liberal Fruit Cakes,a special interest group based in Bagdad by the Bay,California.Upon Bush`s arrest,CCILFC`s Chairwoman [?},the ever-gracious,elegant,classy,and intelligent so-called actress,Janeane Garofalo, had this to say:"Bush Is a Murderer! He`s a Killer! He`s a Racist Redneck! Charge him with war crimes! Now!"
Earlier,Van Jones,a 9/11 truther pinko who recently was forced to resign from the White House for being a loon, had this to say:"I KNOW Bush paid those sharks to attack liberals! He is responsible for all things bad in the world, like the extinction of the dinosars, for murdering Michael Jackson.Did I also mention that he deliberately created Katrina to kill off black people??!!"
Other crimes former President Bush has been accused of include, but are not limited,El Nino, the Titanic disaster, causing tornados, the Great Depression, the Fall of Rome, the English Civil War,and other major events in world history that have taken place long before his own time.We should add that President Bush has yet to be charged with any of those crimes, but Keith Olbermann, widely known for his incredible intelligence and admirable fairness, has already declared him guilty of all these acts, therefore,we,too, must assume,he is guilty.

| So,Obama and pro-murder groups, where`s your shock and outrage at the gunning down of a disabled 63-year old man in Michigan holding an anti-abortion sign? I remember that Obama was very quick to condemn the murder of monster George Tiller, yet it took... him almost a week to even mention to attack by an Islamic extremist at a recruiting center, and now he`s not saying anything at all about the murder of a pro-life elderly with disabilities. In this one case,Obama and the certifably insane, disgusting pro-choice groups around the country, show their true colors and their MURDEROUS hatred for anyone who takes a different stance whether it comes to abortion,or an issue as to how you simply wipe your ass.The left have once again shown their extreme hypocriosy and that they simply don`t care.
|
Can you people hear a single criticism of B.O without automatically calling the critic a racist? I don`t hate Obama because he`s a Democrat,I don`t even hate him at all,I hate his policies and his agenda for the country. For the past eight years, the same far-left fruitcakes who were calling Bush Hitler and calling for his assassination, personally attacking our troops serving in harm`s way, like the NYT`s calling General Patraeus General "Betray Us",holding the same kind of protests against the Iraq War that conservatives are holding against Obama`s economic health care policy, were bitching and screaming that dissent against the Government was supposedly "patriotic." There was nothing patriotic about the likes of George Clooney,Janeane Garafalo,Jane Fonda, and the liberal extremist anti-American,terrorist sympathizing Stalinists in their bogus and fake protests against the war and for human rights, because,if they were, why,as soon as a Democrat comes into power, the fruit loops suddenly become as silent as an abandoned church with no building close to it within 10 miles? Because they don`t care about the war, they don`t care about civilians being caught up in the operations in Baghdad and Kabul,to the liberals, human rights and the war are nothing more than wedge issues,a way to bash the former George W.Bush Administration, under the cover of patriotism. Now,however, with the shoe being on the other foot, they decide the shoe doesn`t match their tastes.
Now that it`s a Black Democrat in office, they take advantage of the situation and automatically ridicule any conservative,or liberal, for that matter,as,in the words of the charming and as-always classy Hollywood delusional bat shit insane actress,Janeane Garafalo,as a bunch of "racist rednecks," more recently, from the same source,as "fucking retarded racists." Liberal hypocriosy,at it`s finest.Typical liberal extremist. The Do-As-I-Say-Not-As-I-Do course of action has gone stale,as have the cries of racism at every turn.Perhaps we should resuffle the deck,so that certain card doesn`t show up quite as often as it has been.
Or maybe the ignorant assholes on the left should walking what they talk, and show a little more openmindeness for once in their lives, and something can get done for the better of our country.I am sick of everything being pointed back to the previous Administration, and Republicans, and the GOP being demanded to assist in their health care reform efforts, when they have huge majorities in both the House and the Senate, and they can easily do whatever the fuck they please with or without the help of the Republicans.
George W made his fair share of mistakes, that is beyond dispute, but why the Hell should the Republicans want to take any part in bipartisanship and cooperation with the Democrats, and heed to demands for never-ending respect for this President, when during the Bush Era,all they recieved was hate-mongering,hypocriosy,and pure partisanship behavior on the part of the Democratic Party when they were in the minority and the GOP was pulling the helms? If the Democratic majority wants Republican help in their proposals, they have to earn it,and at this point in time, they have nothing to show why the GOP should show any willingness at all to help get their agenda into law.

I will be very frank with the readers of this post.Okay...
The truth of the matter is,at this point,I couldn`t give two shits anymore what defines marriage and what does not.If gays want to be actually married,or have their union recognized as civil, knock yourself out.Whatever floats your boat.If you want to marry 100 men and 25 women, that`s ok too.Get married in your local cathedral,or in the middle of a 21 and younger club, doesn`t matter.
All that matters is that today,at the end of the first decade of the 21st century,we have many and much more serious legimitate problems today going forward than trying to decide issues like marriage.I am a former Baptist who recently converted to the Catholic religion who personally supports gay marriage, but feels that the Government should stay out of it,or take an entire neutral stance on this issue, for the Government to take any position at all would not solve the problem in any form,it would merely leave one side satisfied and the other more belligerent before Uncle Sam stepped into the issue. The only time the Government should take any involvement in marriage is when a couple prefers to have their marriage certificate issued by their local courthouse. That`s it.Or,of course,if an individual state wishes to recognize samesex marriage in their state, while the other does not.Thank God for the 10th Amendment,eh? My personal beliefs aside, the issue of gay marriage, while important to some, compared to other problems facing us today,is really quite a minor problem that can be solved rather simply.Let each state decide their own course, with, again the Federal Government taking no stance.

WASHINGTON – Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder.
"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness." "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."
While political activists on the other side of the spectrum have made similar observations, Rossiter boasts professional credentials and a life virtually free of activism and links to "the vast right-wing conspiracy."
For more than 35 years he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago.
Rossiter says the kind of liberalism being displayed by both Barack Obama and his Democratic primary opponent Hillary Clinton can only be understood as a psychological disorder.
"A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do," he says. "A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation's citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state – as liberals do."
Dr. Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:
creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization; satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government. "The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind," he says. "When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious."

| I must say I do wonder, where does Brazil get off demanding we do ANYTHING about Honduras?! Why don`t they go up there themselves if they`re so worried about it? WE ARE NOT THE WORLD`S POLICEMAN! As an American,I am sick and tired of this country being taken advantage of and being forced to do the world`s bidding! Or,are they getting us confused with the United NATIONS? Got a problem, take it to THEM! We in America have enough of our OWN problems to worry about than playing babysitter while the UN is off sitting on it`s butt.I didn`t vote for Obama, and I still wouldn`t,but Lula da Silvia has NO right to be giving our President orders. The AMERICAN PEOPLE voted him in,NOT DA SILVIA.The President does the people`s bidding. And the American People are against an invasion of Honduras.

Press Largely Ignored Hostile Protester Rhetoric Towards Bush By Noel Sheppard August 13, 2009 - 10:12 ET
As Obama-loving media continue their assault on town hall meeting protesters, they seem to have forgotten how they covered civil disobedience when George W. Bush was in the White House.
As Fox News's Bill Sammon pointed out Wednesday, when former President Bush was greeted by hostile protesters on a fund raising trip to Portland, Oregon, in August 2002, the news media didn't bother sharing with the public some of the truly incendiary signs in the crowd or the vulgar behavior of the attendees.
In fact, some of the television reports at the time painted the protesters as innocent victims of an overly aggressive police force.
Before we get there, here's Sammon's take (h/t NB reader ShruggedAtlas and Michelle Malkin):
↓ When Bush visited Portland, Ore., for a fundraiser, protesters stalked his motorcade, assailed his limousine and stoned a car containing his advisers. Chanting "Bush is a terrorist!", the demonstrators bullied passers-by, including gay softball players and a wheelchair-bound grandfather with multiple sclerosis.
One protester even brandished a sign that seemed to advocate Bush's assassination. The man held a large photo of Bush that had been doctored to show a gun barrel pressed against his temple.
"BUSH: WANTED, DEAD OR ALIVE," read the placard, which had an X over the word "ALIVE."
Another poster showed Bush's face with the words: "F--- YOU, MOTHERF---ER!"
A third sign urged motorists to "HONK IF YOU HATE BUSH." A fourth declared: "CHRISTIAN FASCISM," with a swastika in place of the letter S in each word.
Although reporters from numerous national news organizations were traveling with Bush and witnessed the protest, none reported that protesters were shrieking at Republican donors epithets like "Slut!" "Whore!" and "Fascists!" [...]
All the while, angry demonstrators brandished signs with incendiary rhetoric, such as "9/11 - YOU LET IT HAPPEN, SHRUB," and "BUSH: BASTARD CHILD OF THE SUPREME COURT." One sign read: "IMPEACH THE COURT-APPOINTED JUNTA AND THE FASCIST, EGOMANIACAL, BLOOD-SWILLING BEAST!"
How was this reported then?
Yet none of these signs were cited in the national media's coverage of the event.
Sammon's quite right. In fact, some of the television news reports sympathized with the protesters.
Here's how Aaron Brown covered the event on the August 22 installment of CNN Newsnight:
AARON BROWN, HOST: That said, the president has taken his share of knocks on the environment, fair or not is for others to say. But the criticism boils down to this: Whether it's Alaska and oil or Oregon and timber, the solution offered by the administration, say the critics, always seems to benefit big business. Again, fair or not, it is part of the national political landscape.
And for more on things political in the president's journey out West, we're joined by CNN senior White House correspondent John King -- John out in Portland.
Just before we get into the politics of trees and timber, tell me about the protest the president encountered tonight.
KING: Some protests earlier today up near Medford, Oregon where there president was. More protests here in Portland today. About a -- more than 100 tried to walk up on the president's hotel. Police here in Portland used pepper spray to keep them away. There was some feisty altercation between the police and the protesters. After the police asked the protesters to leave the area around the president's hotel, as I said, some pepper spray used there. It is a calm situation now.
Not unusual for the president to encounter protesters, especially when his focus is on environmental issues.
Interesting by comparison to how town hall protesters are viewed today, correct? King made a similar defense of the protesters' activities on that evening's Moneyline:
KING: Several major environmental groups take issue with the Bush plan, and some protesters in Portland today suggesting the president was taking advantage of this year's wildfire crisis to try to help friends in the timber and logging industry.
Once again, protesters in the right, and absolutely NO reference to their hostile signs or behavior.
NBC's "Today" show the following morning also didn't seem at all disturbed by the behavior of protesters the previous day:
MATT LAUER, co-host:
Good morning. Not a warm welcome for President Bush. Protest in Portland turned violent as police confront demonstrators with batons and pepper spray outside the president's hotel. The streets are calm this morning as the president moves on to California today, Friday, August 23rd, 2002.
Announcer: From NBC News, this is TODAY with Katie Couric and Matt Lauer, live from Studio 1A in Rockefeller Plaza. LAUER: And good morning. Welcome to TODAY on a Friday morning. I'm Matt Lauer.
CAMPBELL BROWN, co-host:
And I'm Campbell Brown. Katie's off. The demonstrators were protesting against fres--President Bush's foreign policy and also his new forest initiative.
LAUER: That's right. About 500 protesters in all. There were five arrests.
No mention of disgusting signs or vulgarity thrown at the President.
This is how NPR covered it that same morning:
RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
President Bush campaigns for Republican candidates today in California after spending the night in Portland, Oregon. Hundreds of protesters demonstrated outside his hotel where he appeared at a fund-raiser for Republican Senator Gordon Smith. Earlier yesterday, the president used the nation's largest wildfire in southern Oregon as a backdrop to introduce his plan for improving the health of the public forest. He proposed easing environmental regulations so that timber companies could thin out decade's worth of the combustible material. NPR's Robert Smith was with the president in Medford, Oregon.
ROBERT SMITH reporting:
The residents of southern Oregon who came out to see the president unveil his plan are clearly fed up with living next to wildfires. People here say they are sick of the road closures, the threatened evacuations and the five weeks of brown haze that has filled the valleys.
Once again, the take is to present the side of the protesters as logical while completely avoiding how violent things got the previous evening and not mentioning the disgusting signs or hostility.
Quite different from today's reporting of what's going on at town hall meetings, correct?
MSNBC's Phil Donahue took it even further in an interview with one of the protesters who blamed the police for overreacting:
PHIL DONAHUE, HOST: Riot police used pepper spray and struck some demonstrators with batons after ordering hundreds of people to leave a protest near a hotel where President Bush attended a fundraiser. Protesting Bush's foreign policy, they chanted "Drop bombs" -- "Drop Bush, not bombs."
Joining us now from Portland is Chris Preucil, one of the protesters and founder of the Alliance for Sustainable Jobs and the Environment. You are Well, Ms. Preucil, you are here to say, among other things, that you think that the police really didn't have to be this aggressive. Do I understand your position?
CHRIS PREUCIL, PROTESTING THE PRESIDENT: Oh, not at all. And the police in Portland, Oregon, have had years of history of completely overreacting to peaceful protests.
DONAHUE: You were there, and you're saying that nobody intended any violence at all, that you wanted to convey your displeasure to the president near his hotel. And then do I understand you to say that the police -- the police had you isolated, did they not?
PREUCIL: The president of the United States is not doing very well, as far as being accountable to the people, so there was essentially "no protest" zone, so Bush couldn't actually see the people who were protesting his administration. And the police insisted on pushing that "no protest" zone back, making it bigger and bigger, without really warning the crowd. And instead of announcing to the crowd to move back in a way that was audible, just unleashing pepper spray onto, you know, 12 people or more at a time. It was very inappropriate.
But President Bush's motorcade, we do believe, did get to see some of the protesters, but the message did not get through as clearly as it should because he isolated himself from the people.
DONAHUE: You make the point that you think that the elite, wealthy among us are being protected from people who disagree with them by the cops.
PREUCIL: Well, by the people that are oppressed by a system that allows an elite class to live in luxury while the poor, the working poor and the working class all stress about things like the recession and the amount of debt they're in and how they're going to feed their children and put them through school. And this is nothing new. You know, the elite class has tried to shield themselves from the lower classes and the working classes for thousands of years now.
And Mike Barnicle made the following statement that Friday evening while subbing for Chris Matthews on MSNBC's "Hardball":
Good old-fashioned political rioting is back in style in the Pacific Northwest. Check out these anti-war activists protesting President Bush in Portland. Nice to see that the president is being protected by low tech pepper spray.
Imagine that: good old-fashioned political rioting. Not how today's town hall meeting protesters are being depicted, is it?
In the end, I could not identify one television media outlet that in any way accurately reported the real nature of the hostilities expressed towards President Bush in Portland, Oregon, on August 22, 2002.
I guess it's only fashionable to negatively depict protesters when they don't agree with a President you helped get elected.

I am a conservative Christian who believes, why morally disagreeing with homosexuality, that gays should be allowed the right to marry,as the rights of two people, their sexual preferences notwithstanding, and their love for each other, have no effect on me whatsoever. That is beyond dispute, and I don`t care at all what a person does in their private life,so long as they don`t shove their lifestyles down my own throat. That being said, however, the majority of the people of the State of California voted to approve law for their state that prohibits same-sex marriage where they live.Unless the People passes a bill that either has a direct result in violence or any other crime,or in anyway violates the Constituion of the United States, than their vote must stand.
And by the 10th Amendment of the Constituion of the United States, which makes no mention at all of the issue of gay marriage, but rather leaves that subject to the seperate states to decide, the Proposition is legal,as was determined earlier this year by the California Supreme Court earlier this year. For the federal government to step in and take any action at all against this legislation is as much as a violation of the Constituion as the opponents of Prop 8 say the proposition is,perhaps more, because to get involved in state affairs is not only insane, but it could also be violating the 10th Amendment. While I never would have voted for it,I don`t see any legal cause for it`s overture.Of course, the State could always hold a vote to do away with the Legislation altogether and vote to allow same-sex marriage in the state, but that would be up to voters in California.
No outside intervention is necceesary, nor,I doubt,is it legal.I read a blog posting just a short while ago on the social website,SodaHead.com,which had said that the instituion of slavery was ended by President Lincoln`s Emancipation Proclamation in 1863.Not true. The Proclamation did not free a single slave. With regards to it`s goal of ending that way of life, the Emancipation Proclamation failed miserably,as it was only referring to states in rebellion at the time, and it is highly unlikely,if it not impossible, that slave owners in Virginia and Texas willingly gave up their slaves because the Great Emancipation in the North told them to.
In fact, the Emancipation Proclamation was little more than a propaganda tool to recruit slaves and free blacks into the Union Army in their war against the Confederate States.Slavery itself was only ended after the end of the Civil War and after Lincoln`s death in 1865 by means of the Thirteenth Amendment. And as the Constituion required even then the passage by three-fourths of the States, and not counting the rebellious states, most of which were not admitted back into the Union until at least the late 1860s,a majority of voters desired to see end to slavery. Thus, the Government didn`t end slavery;the people did.The Government only made the first step to ending it.In the end it comes down to what the people want to do.And since the People of the United States approved the banning of slavery in their country, slavery to this day is illegal in the United States.Since the People of California approved the banning of same-sex marriage in their state,same-sex marriage is illegal in California.End of story.Goodbye.The end.

| You will recall, back in April, the far-left and certifably insane actress Janeane Garofalo,on the assclown Keith ODorkerman`s miserable excuse of a show Nothing But Crap "news" channel that the Tea Bag protesters were really protesting because of Obama`s skin color, referring to them as "racist rednecks".Later,I watched another video, and she stated that these same people who are protesting now were not doing so during the admittedly high spending years of the Bush Administration. With Ms.Garofalo`s logic, one would also point out that the same ones protesting the Bush Administration for violation of human rights, accusing them of mass murder in Iraq and Afghanistan, are not saying a peep on that issue now with their own guy running the show in the Oval Office. In response to Garonutlo`s bullcrap argument, these same loons protesting in the name of human rights can be labeled as anti-human terrorist-sympathizing useless pieces of scum.If they really gave one rat`s ass about human rights and the so-called "mass murder" in the Middle East as a result of policies continued by the Obama Administration, they would be out in full swing on the streets.Yet,for some odd reason, they are not.Which leads to signs that for the basket cases on the left, human rights is nothing more than a political issue.

The Lie Clock
A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.
He asked, 'What are all those clocks?'
St. Peter answered, 'Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock.
Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.'
'Oh,' said the man, 'whose clock is that?'
'That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating That she never told a lie.'
'Incredible,' said the man. 'And whose clock is that one?'
St. Peter responded, 'That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire Life.'
'Where's Barrack Obama's clock?' asked the man.
'Obama's clock is in Jesus' office.
He's using it as a ceiling fan.

Akro n police say they aren't ready to call it a hate crime or a gang initiation.
But to Marty Marshall, his wife and two kids, it seems pretty clear.
It came after a family night of celebrating America and freedom with a fireworks show at Firestone Stadium. Marshall, his family and two friends were gathered outside a friend's home in South Akron.
Out of nowhere, the six were attacked by dozens of teenage boys, who shouted ''This is our world'' and ''This is a black world'' as they confronted Marshall and his family.
The Marshalls, who are white, say the crowd of teens who attacked them and two friends June 27 on Girard Street numbered close to 50. The teens were all black.
''This was almost like being a terrorist act,'' Marshall said. ''And we allow this to go on in our neighborhoods?''
They said it started when one teen, without any words or warning, blindsided and assaulted Marshall's friend as he stood outside with the others.
When Marshall, 39, jumped in, he found himself being attacked by the growing group of teens.
His daughter, Rachel, 15, who weighs about 90 pounds, tried to come to his rescue. The teens pushed her to the ground.
His wife, Yvonne, pushed their son, Donald, 14, into bushes to keep him protected.
''My thing is,'' Marshall said, ''I didn't want this, but I was in fear for my wife, my kids and my friends. I felt I had to stay out there to protect them, because those guys were just jumping, swinging fists and everything.
''I'm lucky. They didn't break my ribs or bruise my ribs. I thank God, they concentrated on my thick head because I do have one. They were trying to take my head off my spine, basically.''
After several minutes of punches and kicks, the attack ended and the group ran off. The Marshalls' two adult male friends were not seriously hurt.
''I don't think I thought at that moment when I tried to jump in,'' Rachel Marshall said. ''But when I was laying on the ground, I was just scared.''
Marshall was the most seriously injured. He suffered a concussion and multiple bruises to his head and eye. He said he spent five nights in the critical care unit at Akron General Medical Center.
The construction worker said he now fears for his family's safety, and the thousands of dollars in medical bills he faces without insurance.
''I knew I was going to get beat, but not as bad as I did,'' Marshall said. ''But I did it to protect my family. I didn't have a choice. There was no need for this. We should be all getting along. But to me, it seems to be racist.''
Akron police are investigating. Right now, the case is not being classified as a racial hate crime. There were no other reports of victims assaulted by the group that night.
The department's gang unit is involved in the investigation, police said.
''We don't know if it's a known gang, or just a group of kids,'' police Lt. Rick Edwards said.
The Marshalls say they fear retaliation at home or when they go outside. They are considering arming themselves, but they're concerned about the possible problems that come with guns.
For now, they are hoping police can bring them suspects. They believe they can identify several of the attackers.
''This makes you think about your freedom,'' Marshall said. ''In all reality, where is your freedom when you have this going on?''

From the East to West Coasts and in the heartland in between, and to the wilds of Alaska, the Tea Party tax protests are enthusiastically continuing. Over the July 4 holiday, TEA (Taxed Enough Already?) Party rallies are already planned in 1,267 cities and towns across the nation, and the list grows longer as more volunteers who feel they have been taxed enough join the effort.
The protests will be held in small towns and big cities in all 50 states, from Wasilla, Alaska, to Chicago, from liberal enclaves like Santa Cruz, Calif., to conservative bastions like Salt Lake City, Utah. (To find a Tea Party near you, go to http://www.teapartyday.com/Locations.aspx)
As government spending has ballooned, along with the threat of much higher taxes, the Tea Parties’ attendees promise to surpass the number that turned out in the first round of protests on April 15 -- Tax Day -- when hundreds of thousands of Americans protested in over 800 cities.
Lisa Miller runs a local marketing business in the nation’s Capital and volunteered to help organize a Fourth of July Tea Party because she feels like the results of the years she put into her company are at risk of being taken away by the government. This is her first volunteer role in the tea party movement and her feelings are shared by thousands of others who have gotten involved. They believe government spending and intervention in banking and industry is out of control and the country’s leaders, from the President down to the local levels of government, have got to change course.
“Obama is telling me I should have been a welfare mother,” Miller said, “but that’s not who I am.”
Miller is just one of the voices in a national chorus who are fed up with the government’s wasteful spending for questionable programs that make the county’s problems worse and penalize those whose hard work and core beliefs in the principles of liberty and freedom made this country successful. Miller, like most of the people she has been in contact with since becoming an organizer, does not have political ambitions and would rather spend her time and effort on her business and with her family.
Miller combined her organizing efforts with the March for Liberty Coalition for Washington’s tea party set for July 4 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Upper Senate Park near First Street and Constitution Avenue N.W. She expects several thousand people will turn out to hear the speakers and entertainment planned for that day. If more show up, there is room for as many as 20,000 at the location. Miller said that dozens of organizers around the country are coordinating their tea parties with local parades and fireworks displays, which could boost attendance. Miller is concentrating on including bipartisan participants because of the growing dissatisfaction among Democrats and Independents over the government’s increasing control over the economy, health care and the dodgy recovery plan.
“The Obama administration is creating conflict to gain more control and people on both sides understand what the problem is.” Miller said. “This is our way back, and we’ve got a game plan to lay out what people can do.”
The tea parties carry on after the Independence Day holiday when thousands of people from around the country are planning a three-day National Taxpayer Protest in September to take the tea party movement back up to Capitol Hill.
Brendan Steinhauser, a national coordinator for FreedomWorks, has been traveling around the country since February working with grassroots activists organizing tax protests. FreedomWorks and a coalition of organizations believe it is time to take the tax protests straight to Capitol Hill. There are more than 6,000 people from all over the country registered to attend the National Taxpayer Protest March on Washington. Steinhauser expects that number to grow substantially as people learn the details of the Obama administration’s health care and cap-and-trade energy plans and what those plans will do to their personal finances, tax rates and medical care.
“Some of the media missed the story on this,” Steinhauser said, referring to the tea party movement that erupted in April, but was summarily ridiculed and dismissed by the media. He plans on speaking at the tea party Miller is helping arrange and is assisting other groups and individuals organizing protests in other parts of the country. The idea for a March on Washington came from a group of organizers who put together the April 15 tea parties and felt that the message the protests sent to elected officials had been ignored. The march is a three-day event including visits with congressmen and senators, workshops and seminars and gatherings at area memorials leading up to the march from the Lincoln Memorial to the United States Capitol Building on Saturday. FreedomWorks and their coalition partners have invited numerous politicians and personalities from the media and entertainment fields to participate.
Steinhauser also noted that the people he meets who are dealing with all the details of setting up these tea parties do not have political aspirations themselves, but they are taking time away from their careers and families because the men and women running their country are not listening to their constituents.
“It’s a good group and a coalition of the willing,” Steinhauser said. “This has the potential to get huge.”
Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks press secretary, said the tea party movement goes beyond party lines. At several past events there were as many liberals and independents as conservatives in attendance and he cited Rep.Walt Minnick (D.-Idaho) and Rep. Gene Taylor, (D-Miss.), as allies to the tea party cause because of their voting records which are “better than some Republicans.”
“They are absolutely welcome to join with us,” Brandon said.
He said momentum is building and the message is getting through to politicians such as Sen. Ben Nelson, (D-Neb.), whose office was slammed with e-mails and phone calls from tea party members letting the senator know what they thought of the current state of affairs. That momentum will make it difficult to ignore the protests.
“MSN made fun of us,” Brandon said, “but they do so at their own peril this time.”
The schedule for the September March on Washington includes the following activities:

| Mark Sanford has now decided to back out of a previous promise to release his financial records. This shmuck makes John Edwards look that more presidental everyday.Do your wife, your family, but most of all,the GOP,a favor, and resign already. You are a hypocritical nutcase. How DARE you demand Bill Clinton resign after his little mishap while you abandoned your state for five days to without so much of a word, and than have the audacity to lie about your actual location, than admit to the affair, than say you acknowledge that resigning is the right thing to do,and staunchly refuse to do what you yourself admit is the right and appropiate course of action and what you yourself had the nerve to do with Bill Clinton back in 1999.And as for your little remark about how you were crying all those days while you were in Argentina showing the kind of pathetic loser you reall are,Governor...no,nu uh,not buying. If you for one second gave one damn about the tremondous hurt, humilation, and embarrasment you undoubetedly knew you were going to inflict on your wife while conducting this affair, you never would have gotten on that plane to Bueno Aires in the first place. You filthy, crooked liar. You patronizing,self-serving cheapskate. You are an embarrasement to your family and to your Party,as well as to conservatives everywhere.Resign,Mr.Sanford.Now.

For years now,the Christian conservative right have defended their values by fighting against samesex marriage and abortion rights while doing so under the protection of the term "family values." However, the extreme Christian conservative seem only interested in promoting family values when it stands in line with their political beliefs and when they can make political gains off their so called values.
Which leads me to the part where I think certain attacks on President Obama by the neocon extremist right are ridiculous, classless, and hypocritical to the extreme.I consider myself a conservative Christian who supports Christian beliefs, but I`m also rational enough to see that what certain Christians say and then do completly contracdict each other.Since January 20th,we have seen such attacks about the First Family`s dog BO,we have seen the far-right go after the President and Vice President Joe Biden`s afternoon out to go have a burger with the common folk,we have seen them attack the President and the First Lady`s night out earlier this month in New York City, and now,we are seeing them rage over Michelle Obama taking her two young daughters on a sight seeing tour of Paris. The criticisms I make in this blog are not to be seen as I support the Obama Administration and it`s corrupt tendencies in anyway at all;simply to point out why these attacks on President Obama are without merit.
About the dog...the White House is a big place, with Daddy in the Oval Office trying to stop North Korea from starting a nuclear war and trying to help the world out of a Depresion [yes, this IS a Depression, drop the reccession term already],and with MaMa out filling for the leader of the free world at events around the country and taking other kiddies on tours of the White House,it can get pretty lonely. And the oldest is 10,with the youngest being seven. These children need a friend to keep company; it`s not just like they can call up one of their school buddies and ask if they`re having a sleepover; let the children have a dog,for all they`ve endured since February 2007,all those long monthes of being away from their father for obivious reasons and for hanging in the way they did, they deserve to be able to enjoy at least that.Let them have their fun. You`re not a kid forever. And the the Obama girls notwithstanding, the attacks on the Obamas getting a pet in the first place is even more ridiculous in the sense that nothing was said when the Bushes brought their dog and cat with them from Texas, and nothing was said when Chelsea Clinton brought her cat Socks to the White House. So what difference does it really make now?
My main point is that for decades the Republican Party has run on election after election claiming to be the Party of Family and Christian values. It is partly their hypocriosy that is killing the GOP;voters around the country are starting to turn away from the Christian right because they talk the talk but not walk the walk. It`s time for Republicans to stop being hypocrites. It`s time for them to Walk the Talk.

KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine (CNN) — Former President George H.W. Bush celebrated his 85th birthday Friday by doing what has become his tradition — making a parachute jump — and commenting on national affairs.
"This is great," the elder Bush said after landing near a church in Kennebunkport, Maine, the Bushes' summer home. "I'm glad to be alive and glad my family's all with me."
Bush made the tandem jump from 10,500 feet harnessed to a member of the U.S. Army parachute team. Jumping with him was Robin Meade, an anchor on CNN sister network HLN, also harnessed to a more experienced jumper.
Back on the ground, Bush was flanked by two of his sons — former president George W. Bush, who left office in January, and Jeb Bush, former governor of Florida.
The elder Bush said he intends to do another jump on his 90th birthday.
He made his first jump as a Navy pilot when his plane was shot down over the Pacific during World War II. He also made two jumps apiece on his 75th and 80th birthdays, and another in November 2007 at the reopening of his library at Texas A&M; University.
Earlier in the day, Bush talked to Meade about U.S. Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor, whose Senate confirmation hearings start July 13.
Bush, who nominated Sotomayor for a U.S. District Court judgeship for the Southern District of New York in 1992, said she should receive a "fair hearing" as she seeks a seat on the nation's highest court.
Sotomayor is expected to win approval as the first Hispanic Supreme Court justice and the third woman to serve as a Supreme Court justice. She currently is a judge for the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Asked his opinion, Bush said: "I have a feeling she will be confirmed." "I'm going to leave that to others to analyze, but she should be given a fair hearing," he said. "She should be accorded every courtesy that goes with her record as a judge and her aspirations to be a Supreme Court justice."
Sotomayor has been criticized by some conservatives for her remarks on diversity, and a comment made in 2001 and paraphrased on other occasions that she "would hope that a wise Latina woman, with the richness of her experiences, would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."
Bush noted that someone had called Sotomayor a "racist." "Well, that's not right. I mean, it's not fair. It doesn't help the process to be out there name-calling. So let them decide whether they want to vote for her or not, and get on with it."
The former president was asked whether, as he becomes older, he is thinking more about his legacy.
"I think my view on legacy is let the historians figure out what I screwed up, and figure out what I got right.
"And I'm confident that, you know, we had a good administration and good people. And I think the same thing is true of our son. And you know, he had tough times and all, but he's doing it right. He's laying back there and he's not criticizing the president. And I'm very proud of him."
"I hope that we both have set examples for how you ought to conduct yourself when you've been president and then go out of office," Bush said. "Let the other guy do it, and support him when you can and be silent. Don't be out there criticizing all the time."
When the 41st president was asked about the nation's most pressing problems, he listed the economy, unemployment and health care.
"I think it will get better. I remain optimistic about our recovery and all of that," he said.
Bush acknowledged that his schedule is far less hectic these days, but he keeps busy with traveling — he plans trips to Germany and China this year — and humanitarian work with the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, which is part of the University of Texas.
He described his love of skydiving. "Just because you're old, that doesn't mean you can't do fun stuff. And you don't want to sit around drooling in the corner. And so it's a wonderful release.
"And you know, because I was president it sends a message all around. Go out and get something doing. Just 'cause … old guys can still have fun and still do stuff."

Yes...this is from FOXNews.com.This was the only place I could find this story. Not this is a surprise.

David Letterman is in the hot seat for several crude jokes he made on CBS' "The Late Show" about Sarah Palin and her teenage daughter.
Letterman, in his monologue Monday night, noted that the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate attended a Yankees game during a trip to New York City, where she was honored by a special needs group. Letterman referred to Palin, Alaska's governor, as having the style of a "slutty flight attendant."
The "Late Show" host also took a shot Palin's daughter, while poking fun at the Yankees' third baseman.
“One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game," Letterman said, "during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.”
The backlash was almost immediate, with Palin's supporters denouncing the CBS host for making jokes that many said were sexist and for what they called an unfair attack on the governor and her family.
“I think that calling the former vice presidential candidate a slut or saying that her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez, I think everyone can agree that’s over the line,” Washington Examiner correspondent Byron York told FOX News’ Greta Von Susteren.
But an even more disturbing fact, which Letterman may not have known, was that the daughter who accompanied Palin on her trip to New York was 14-year-old Willow — not 18-year-old Bristol, the unwed mother of Palin's first grandchild.
Now, many critics — including the Palins themselves – are slamming Letterman for jokes that they say make light of sexual abuse of an underage girl.
In a statement to FOXNews.com, Palin accused Letterman of making "sexually perverted" and “inappropriate" comments that she doubted he would “ever dare make” about anyone else’s daughter.
"Acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone's daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others," she said.
Palin's husband, Todd, echoed her sentiments, telling FOXNews.com, "Any ‘jokes’ about raping my 14-year-old are despicable. Alaskans know it, and I believe the rest of the world knows it, too."
A representative for “The Late Show” declined to offer comment for this story.

WASHI NGTON (CNN) – Monday evening’s high-profile Republican fundraising dinner yielded approximately $14 million, according to a joint statement released by congressional Republican leaders.
The event, which featured former House Speaker Newt Gingrich as the headliner, raised about $7.25 million for Senate Republicans and $7.2 million for House GOP candidates.
“As we look forward to the 2010 election cycle, we understand what’s at stake and the principles that we are fighting for on behalf of voters across the country,” said Texas Sen. John Cornyn, chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
The annual joint fundraising dinner occupied political headlines in the run-up to Monday evening, because of a continuing controversy over whether Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin would attend the event after she declined earlier this year to be the main speaker. Palin was expected to be in the audience.
“Tonight’s success is a testament to how well Republicans’ message of fiscal responsibility and smaller government is resonating,” said Texas Rep. Pete Sessions, chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee.

"Maybe this nigger should shut up and learn his place" is one of numerous racist, hate-filled comments posted on YouTube attacking me, a black conservative, for writing the "American Tea Party Anthem." And who is spewing this racist hate? So-called tolerant liberals.
But how can this be? According to the biased media, liberal Democrats are saviors saintly protecting blacks from evil, rich, white conservative Republicans. Regretfully, their "devoid of the truth" marketing plan has been extremely successful. For generations, like zombies, blacks award liberal democrats 90% of their vote.
Like the woman in the old diet infomercial, I want to scream to my fellow blacks, "STOP THE INSANITY! Liberal Democrats are NOT OUR FRIENDS!" They want to keep us on their "you're a victim" plantation. Simply put, liberal Democrats HATE 'uppity' blacks who achieve without their programs such as Affirmative Action.
Here are my outrageously stupid beliefs which have caused libs to call me the "N" word on numerous occasions: I love my country. I tell youths all limits are self-imposed. No one is entitled to the fruits of someone else's labors. I refuse to see myself as a victim.
Liberal actress Janeane Garofalo diagnosed blacks who think like me as suffering from "Stockholm Syndrome." Garofalo, in her arrogance, is REALLY saying, "Get your black 'A' back on the plantation. Who do you think you are? You are NOT free. You are an eternal victim. Every white American will ALWAYS owe you! GOT IT, you dumb 'N'?"
And yet, with help from their local buddies in the media, Democrats successfully brand conservative Republicans as racists. History reveals the truth that blatant racism has been the elephant in the liberal Democrat's living room for years. (http://www.errvideo.com)
FACT! Conservative Republicans do not persecute black achievers. Liberal Democrats DO! Blacks achieving without liberal Democrat assistance are targeted for destruction. Examples are former Secretary of State Condolezza Rice and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. These two brilliant blacks should have been held up to black youths as shining examples of what can be achieved in America via character, education and hard work. Instead, liberal Democrats despise Rice and Thomas. Rice and Thomas severely weaken the lie that America is racist with limited opportunity for minorities.
Also, the "victim business" can be extremely profitable. Remember when the NAACP got 54 million dollars from Denny's because some blacks received slow service? Give me a break! And then, there is the dirty little secret among liberal black Democrats. Rice and Thomas broke an unspoken rule which goes as followed: to be true to one's blackness, one MUST always harbor, at least a minimal, resentment against white America!
Here are more examples of liberal racism. A white blogger posted a doctored photo of black former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele in white minstrel blackface. The caption read, "Simple Sambo wants to move to the big house." Liberal cartoonists published vicious racist cartoons of Condolezza Rice. They even called her "Aunt Jemima." Former KKK member Democrat Senator Byrd used the "N" word in an interview. Byrd apologized and everyone moved on. A few Republicans who made far milder gaffes were verbally flogged within an inch of their lives and subjected to high-tech lynchings.
The media ignores liberal Democrat racism. I guess they consider it a kind of 'tough love' to reign in us blacks who have wondered off the victim plantation. When they call us the "N" word, it is only because they care. "Ouch, I'm movin', easy with that whip!"
It is time for blacks to wake up and smell the betrayal. Democrat so-called compassionate policies and programs have destroyed many black families. Before Democrat President Lyndon Johnson's "War on Poverty" in 1965, most black families were intact. Today, over 60% of black kids grow up without dads. Again, I refer you to (http://www.errvideo.com) The media and Democrats are co-conspirators in keeping as many blacks as possible crippled with a victim mindset and dependent on Democrats and government. Totally disgusting.
So, you libs and Dems, keep calling me the "N' word. It only strengthens my resolve to keep standing up for the truth. In my best Charlton Heston as Moses impression, I command, "Liberal Democrats...LET MY PEOPLE GO!"

INSTALLING A HUSBAND Dear Tech Support,
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.
Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.
Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.
What can I do?
Signed, Desperate.
DEAR DESPERATE,
First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.
Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.
If that application works as designed, Husband1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.
However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.
Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)
In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.
In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.
Good Luck Babe!

FROM:CNN
CNN) -- President Obama said Thursday that he was "deeply saddened" by the shootings at an Arkansas military recruiting station that left one soldier dead and another wounded.
Investigators are still digging into the background of Abdulhakim Muhammad, a Muslim convert from Tennessee suspected of the attack on the Little Rock recruiting center on Monday.
Muhammad, formerly known as Carlos Bledsoe, is charged with killing Pvt. William Long, 23, of Conway and wounding Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, of Jacksonville.
"I am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence against two brave young soldiers who were doing their part to strengthen our armed forces and keep our country safe," Obama said in a statement issued by the White House.
"I would like to wish Quinton Ezeagwula a speedy recovery and to offer my condolences and prayers to William Long's family as they mourn the loss of their son."
Muhammad, 23, has pleaded not guilty. He told police that he had "political and religious" motives for the shooting, according to court records.
"He was mad at the U.S. military because of what they had done to Muslims in the past," homicide detective Tommy Hudson said in a police report.
Federal agents said Wednesday that they are looking into whether Internet searches of various locations in several other U.S. cities were a sign that he was seeking "additional targets."
Among the cities investigators cited were New York; Atlanta, Georgia; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Louisville, Kentucky; and Memphis, Tennessee, where Muhammad grew up.
Muhammad's attorney, Jim Hensley, told CNN affiliate KATV that his client "does not believe Americans in general are his enemy." He said Muhammad wishes to make a statement to the public "at some point in the future" but would not discuss details.
"Right now, he just needs some time to get his head together," Hensley said.
Muhammad is being held on a state count of capital murder and 16 counts of engaging in a terrorist act by firing into an occupied building.
Federal investigators, meanwhile, are also looking into what he was doing during the 16 months he spent in Yemen, which deported him back to the United States in January.
A Yemeni Embassy official in Washington said Muhammad entered the country with a U.S. passport in September 2007 and spent two months teaching English to Yemeni students at the British Consulate there. Then he moved to the capital, Sanaa, where he taught English and studied Arabic at the City Institute.
In November, he was arrested in Aden for overstaying his visa and deported two months later in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy, the Yemeni official said.
A senior law enforcement official said this week that Muhammad had been arrested for using a fake Somali identification document. But upon his return to the United States, authorities had no evidence to arrest him or put him under surveillance, the official said.
Muhammad had filed a petition in court April 23 asking to change his name "for religious reasons" to Abdulhakim Bledsoe, but it has not received court approval.
Just before the shooting, he was working out of a Hilton hotel in Little Rock in a family business: driving tourists around in a sightseeing van.

Mr. Obama:
I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or of me personally.
You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the United States of America . You are responsible to the citizens of the United States. You are not responsible to the peoples of any other country on earth.
I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the United States telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of the peoples of Europe ? Are you brain dead? What do you think the Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history of the 20th century?
Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?
Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the king of Saudi Arabia . You don't show Great Britain , our best and one of our oldest allies, the respect they deserve yet you bow down to the king of Saudi Arabia . How dare you, sir! How dare you!
You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a mosque in Turkey . You offended our dead and every veteran when you give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German people from themselves. What's the matter with you? I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be ashamed of yourselves, all of you.
You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic, the Fannie Mae and the Freddie Mac bonuses. What do you intend to do about them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.
What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in bonuses to their staff members on top of the $2.5 million in automatic pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with my employer. You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized that? I surely didn't!
Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210 million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million more than the AIG bonuses. In fact, Fannie and Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million! Not a bad take. Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have right now?
I resent that you take my fellow citizens and me as brain-dead and not caring about what you idiots do. We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly fed up with all of you. I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities. I promise you that I will work tirelessly in the political system to see that you do not get a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country. I'm sure that there will be millions of people like myself that will actually get out and do the work to expose you for what you are.
Troubled, Vets

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mitchell-blatt/2009/0 6/02/liberals-blame-oreilly-tiller-murder-silent-m ilitary-recruiter-shoot
By Mitchell Blatt (Bio | Archive) June 2, 2009 - 09:21 ET
While the far left is blaming Bill O’Reilly and the pro-life movement for the death of George Tiller, another shooting has left military recruiter William Long dead at the hands of an anti-military Muslim convert.
Mainstream liberals like Keith Olbermann and news sources like NBC have already blamed O'Reilly for Tiller's death, as have websites like Salon, the Huffington Post, and the Daily Kos.
Markos Moulitsas may have celebrated the deaths of Blackwater fighters and wished for a similar fate for Michelle Malkin, but nevermind that.
And Olbermann did call our troops fighting in Iraq "cold-blooded killers," but that obviously had nothing to do with the hate some on the left feel against the military.
To be sure, I'm not saying that Olbermann or Kos are somehow to blame for one lunatic's deranged actions, I am simply saying that those two lunatics are responsible for their own deranged comments. Saying that someone is responsible for murder based on their civic dissent is nothing more than first-degree fear mongering.
It's part of a broader effort the left has been engaging in now that they have risen to power.
First it was Obama's attacks on Rush Limbaugh then the left blamed Glenn Beck for causing the murder of three police officers. Just one day before the Tea Parties, the Department of Homeland Security released a memo warning of right-wing terrorists.
In March, the state of Missouri released a memo warning that supporters of third-party candidates might be terrorists. Only in the sense that they might threaten the two-party status quo...
The take away from these efforts is an attempt to discredit critics and push for a Censorship Doctrine disguided as localism to further stiffle dissent.
PS: While Michelle Malkin, Allahpundit, Red State, and other conservative bloggers have denounced Tiller's murder, Keith Olbermann, Think Progress, the Huffington Post, Crooks and Liars, and AmericaBlog haven't even mentioned William Long's murder at the recruiting center as of this writing.

Updated Saturday night WASHINGTON--The "personal" trip to New York President Obama and First Lady Michelle made Saturday became grist for the Republican National Committee.
The RNC hit the First Couple up for taking the trip--the RNC called it "a joyride"-- on Air Force One while the nation's economy is suffering.
(Update) The RNC left a misimpression. The Obama's did not take the jumbo jet commonly thought of as the president's plane. Instead, according to Mark Knoller of CBS News, the Obamas flew in an Air Force Gulfstream V (C-37A) for their flight to NYC. "Far less costly than the 747. It's a 12 passenger aircraft," Knoller said in a Twitter dispatch. Any aircraft flying the president is called Air Force One. Oher points: the RNC never complained when former President George Bush flew to Texas to weekend at his ranch. I doubt the RNC would have dared criticized Obama if he flew to Chicago on weekends; the Obama's have been home once since the inauguration. (end Update)
The RNC put up a clip from the White House Correspondents Dinner on May 9 where Obama joked about daughters Malia and Sasha taking a ride on Air Force One.

Coming from a family with a long of servicemen in the United States Military,I really become hostile when you refer to our men and women serving in harm`s way to preserve your right to morally degrade them all you want as "criminals." I really can`t help but feel a mixture of disdain and pity for one who is so ungrateful for his freedoms and his country the way this person is.I really feel sorry for him. I really do.Several of my ancestors served during the American Revolution, one serving under General Washington at Yorktown,a cousin who served as a personal aide to General Washington.Through my grandmother`s side I am a third cousin nine times removed to Nathaniel Greene,a famous general of the American Revolution who was involved in the colonial victory at Boston in 1776 and later served at such places such as the Battles of Germantown and Monmouth, and crossed the Delaware River with General Washington and his men on that cold, historic Christmas night in 1776 and marched onto New Jersey and took Trenton from the British and the Hessians.
That being said, however, this is not about being intolerable to the views of others;this is not about whether or not the war in Iraq is wrong;this is not about who is or who is not a flag-carrying patriotic American;after all,we are all Americans,we all love our country.White, black,Republican,Democrat,European,I ndian,Asian... all love this great country we call America;this is about showing the respect to those who have more than earned our undying gratitude and admiration;who are heroes for the American cause, which is for the freedom of all people of all races,of all ethnicites,of all religions around the world,on all contients,in every country,in every state,in every city. These people willingly make the ultimate sacrifice for the country and the people they love,as well as does their families.Their families endure for days, for months, and in many cases, even years, agonizing their way through the unbearably sleepless nights fretting and worrying over the safety of their loved ones in harm`s way so they can continue to enjoy freedoms granted to them by our Founding Fathers and preserved for over 200 years by the blood of hundreds of thousands of men and women who bled and died before their Generation. After all they`ve done for us,the least the rest of us can do is show some respect and gratitude. They`ve earned it. I am not asking you to support our mission in Iraq, but to support them, the defenders of our rights and our liberties, the ones who keep that beacon of freedom shining bright in that torch that resides in the hand of the majestic beauty who has stood tall tall in New York for nearly 125 years and has welcomed immigrants to our country ever since.Of his service for his nation,my cousin,General Greene, said this:"I am determined to defend my rights and maintain my freedom or sell my life in the attempt." And I could not be prouder and more honored to be in his family tree, but more importantly,I could not be prouder of his service, and the service of every single man and woman who has made the ultimate sacrifice to defend my,and your, freedoms to defend this nation`s honor as the beacon of hope and freedom for all oppressed people around the world.God bless the Troops and God Bless America.

Global Health Advocates Call for Pan-African Voices to Speak Up Letter from an African Man Living with HIV/AIDS Presented to the White House
"It is not morally right for the President to cut down on the US global health contribution, especially on AIDS. Cutting the budget for global AIDS funding is tantamount to genocide, and Mr. Obama shall be held accountable for deaths that will ensue." —Felix Mwanza, open letter to President Obama, May 18, 2009
Washington, DC, May 19, 2009—In a press conference held today in Nairobi, global health advocates, including Global AIDS Alliance (GAA) executive director Dr. Paul Zeitz, called for a pan-African response to fix the funding gap in President Barak Obama's fiscal year 2010 budget request submitted to the US Congress on May 7, 2009.
When President Barack Obama released his $3.6 trillion budget on May 7, he broke two campaign promises and created a total shortfall of $3.3 billion in US support for global AIDS funding through US bilateral AIDS programs, including PEPFAR, and for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. "President Obama also sent a message to world governments that it is acceptable to underfund global health, in particular the Global Fund," said Dr. Zeitz. "The Global Fund is already facing a financial gap, and this will only make it worse by setting the wrong example."
"The people of Africa must speak out and tell President Obama, a son of Kenya, that he must meet his promises to those who are affected by HIV/AIDS," said James Kamau of the Kenya Treatment Action Movement (Nairobi).
Also speaking at the press conference was Felix Mwanza of the Treatment Advocacy and Literacy Campaign (Zambia). "It is not morally right for the President to cut down on the US global health contribution, especially on AIDS. Cutting the budget for global AIDS funding is tantamount to genocide, and Mr. Obama shall be held accountable for deaths that will ensue," said Mr. Mwanza, quoting from his open letter to President Obama, which was sent to the White House on May 18. (See the links below for the full text of Mr. Mwanza's letter.)
GAA estimates that as a consequence of President Obama's broken promises on U.S. bilateral AIDS programs:
One million people around the world won't receive treatment for AIDS. 2.9 million women won't receive services to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV. 27 million people won't access sexual disease transmission prevention programs. 1.9 million orphans and other children affected by or vulnerable to HIV/AIDS won't receive care and support services. The press conference closed with a call to the people of Africa to raise their voices by contacting in-country representatives of the US government, including American Embassies, PEPFAR and USAID regional offices, local offices of the American Chambers of Commerce, and by email to President Obama at the White House in Washington, DC, to demand full funding of PEPFAR and the Global Fund.

BY:John Feehery at CNN
(CNN) -- "It is important for us to have a strong Republican Party," Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi tauntingly told a press conference on April 23. "And I hope that the next generation will take back the Republican Party for the Grand Old Party that it used to be."
Thanks Mrs. Pelosi, for your best wishes. But be careful what you wish for. I wouldn't write the obituary for the Republican Party quite yet.
Sure, things are looking grim at the moment. Yes, our Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele stumbled out of the starting gate, making several verbal gaffes, and raising questions about his competence. Yes, the latest poll numbers are in the toilet, showing only 21 percent of the American people call themselves Republicans. Yes, Arlen Specter decided the GOP was a drag on his personal political future. And yes, we lost a special election in upstate New York that maybe we should have won.
But things change. Remember a year-and-a-half ago, when everybody thought the election would be a referendum on the Iraq war. Remember 10 months ago, when everyone thought that expensive gas was going to drive people to the polls. It turned out that, by the time of the election, the most important thing that people cared about was their declining 401ks or their lost job.
Here are five reasons why the Republican Party will be back and perhaps sooner than anyone thinks:
1) Overreach: Several of my Democratic friends over the last several months have tried to comfort me when discussing the fall of the Republican Party with one consoling thought: Don't worry, we will screw it up. And on that one thing I agree with them. The liberal Democrats that currently run the Congress are destined to overreach on the legislative front. Pelosi and her California allies, like Reps. Henry Waxman, George Miller and Pete Stark, tend to think the rest of America wants the same things they do, from higher taxes on energy to a national health care plan that could be a blueprint for socialized medicine, from abortion on demand to gay marriage. But most Americans actually look at California as an economic basket case and social mess. It is a beautiful state, but it is also completely screwed-up, thanks largely to liberal governance. The Democrats are certain to overdo it on the liberalism, and that will make the Republicans much more attractive in two to four years.
2) Checks and balances: Unlike the parliamentary governments of Europe, where one party runs everything until they mess up, the American system actually gives a preference to both parties having skin in the game. While most voters don't actually think "divided government" when they go to the polls, they do think that one-party government tends to lead to excess and corruption. That is why the people have a chance a mere two years after the president gets elected to give him a midterm report card in the form of Congressional elections. Most polls now show voters prefer a candidate who will serve as a check on President Obama's power. And for most voters, who see Pelosi and Nevada Sen. Harry Reid as even more liberal than the president, Republicans will serve as that check.
3) Crisis breeds renewal: When things are going well, a political party tends to discourage independent thought and enforce philosophical orthodoxy. But when a political party faces crisis, all of that goes out the window. It is a wide-open world right now for Republicans as they debate amongst themselves what the party truly stands for. The debate will be painful, as neoconservatives, paleo-conservatives, progressive conservatives, moderates and libertarians battle it out to chart the course for a new and more vibrant party. Republicans can afford to have these debates now when they are in the minority, because frankly, they have nothing else to do. The Democrats went through this process in the mid-90s, and they built a new party that attracted centrists like Mark Warner, without alienating old-line liberals like Pelosi or Waxman.
4) Talent senses opportunity: Investors know that the time to buy is not when the market is at its peak, but when the market is at the bottom. But it is not always easy to know when the bottom hits. In politics, it is pretty easy to know when a party has hit the bottom. And for the Republicans, it is now. Talented political entrepreneurs look to the GOP and see nothing but opportunity. The old bulls have been wiped out. The new guard is ready to start leading. In the House, young guns like Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan are charting the future for the next Republican takeover. Adam Putnam of Florida and Mark Kirk of Illinois are getting ready for state-wide runs. But it is not just the young guns. It also more experienced politicians, John Kasich and Rob Portman of Ohio, Tom Ridge of Pennsylvania, Jeb Bush of Florida, who see an opportunity to lead the party back to power.
5) The Republican Party is the de facto Libertarian Party: Most people I talk to think of themselves not as Republicans or Democrats, but as libertarians. Not libertarians in the political party sense, but libertarians in a deeper philosophical sense. They tend to want government to stay out of their lives as much as possible. They tend to distrust all politicians, and when they hear someone say, "I am from the government, and I am here to help," they tend to laugh uproariously. It was Will Rogers who said, "I don't make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts." The Republican Party does best when it seeks to reform government, to lessen the power of the bureaucrat, and to fight to give more freedom to the people. When the GOP returns to that philosophical creed -- which it will do in the face of the Obama administration's vast expansion of government power -- its fortunes will brighten again.
If the Republican Party were a stock, the smart investor would start buying it now. Yes, things look grim at the present time, but things change. The GOP is not dead yet, and Speaker Pelosi may see her wish of a resurgent Republican Party come true quicker than she anticipated.
The opinions expressed in this commentary are solely those of John Feehery.

FROM:The Huffington Post
No one liked him as an enemy but you might like him as a friend.
While the media obsesses over grading President Barack Obama's first 100 days in office, few realize that former President George Bush is also observing a similar milestone, though in reverse. The latest polls give Obama high marks for effort; yet, one might also be inclined to give Bush at least a passing grade for good behavior. The fact is that, since leaving office, Bush has graciously faded into the background. He has repeatedly refused to criticize Obama publicly, even as Obama and members of his administration soak in the adulation at his expense.
You Say Goodbye, I Say Hello It's no coincidence that the amount of love people showed incoming President Obama was almost in direct proportion to the amount of hate they showed outgoing President Bush. Yet, in his retirement, a new side of George W. Bush appears to be slowly emerging -- and it may actually be one that people could come to...well...like.
The Bush of this alternate universe first made his appearance on his last day in office. Bush welcomed Obama to the White House -- not with icy formality -- but with a few, genuinely friendly pats on the back. He then left the White House for the last time, not with a sour face, but with "a shrug and a smile." Throughout the inauguration ceremonies, Bush sat by quietly and never made even one of his famous faces as Obama spoke -- not even stick out his tongue.
Later in March, speaking before the business community in Calgary, Canada, Bush refused to criticize Obama and actually wished him well. Even as Republicans back home stumbled over themselves in an effort to justify their partisan posturing over Obama's stimulus package, Bush demurred.
"I want the president to succeed," he said. "I love my country a lot more than I love politics....he deserves my silence...."
Bringing it all Back Home Since his retirement, Bush seems to have completely severed his Republican affiliations and partisanship, and now seems eager to live the life of the amiable, happy-go-lucky fellow he once was - the dirty world of politics soiled his mind and desensitized his conscience.
At the Boao Forum in China recently, he again refused to bad-mouth Obama. "He was not my first choice, but now that this election was made, it speaks volumes about the United States of America," he said.
Even Vice President Joe Biden's recent assertion that he boldly chastised Bush to his face in a private meeting could not entice Bush out of his easy chair. As Biden's now-legendary account goes, when Bush described himself as "a leader," Biden claimed to have responded: "Mr. President, turn and around and look behind you. No one is following."
That brought out the fighting spirit of former presidential adviser Karl Rove, who seems to be on a hair-trigger these days, lashing out at anything and everything related to the Obama White House. Rove called the conversation fictional and described Biden as a "serial exaggerator."
Other Bush aides agreed, including former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer and chief of staff Andy Card. The target of these assertions, however -- Bush himself -- remained curiously silent on the matter.
It's quite likely that, while others are popping their tops, Bush himself is simply popping open another cold one and kicking back at the ranch.
Therefore, in grading Bush's first 100 days since leaving office, I would give him an "A" for sportsmanlike conduct.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former congressman and Republican vice presidential candidate Jack Kemp died Saturday at age 73 after a battle with cancer, his family announced.
A onetime professional football player, Kemp served nine terms in Congress as a representative from New York and was former Sen. Bob Dole's running mate in 1996. He was a leading advocate of "supply-side" tax cuts, advancing the argument that cutting taxes would boost economic growth and yield more revenue for the federal government.
"The only way to oppose a bad idea is to replace it with a good idea, and I like to think that I have spent my life trying to promote good ideas," he told CNN in a 1996 interview.
Kemp "passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord" Sunday evening, a family statement said. He disclosed his illness in January.
"During the treatment of his cancer, Jack expressed his gratitude for the thoughts and prayers of so many friends, a gratitude which Kemp family shares," the family said.
Kemp quarterbacked the Buffalo Bills to back-to-back American Football League championships in 1964 and 1965, before the merger that created the modern NFL. When he retired in 1970 after 13 seasons, the California native ran for Congress and represented the Buffalo area for 18 years in the House of Representatives.
"He championed free-market principles that improved the lives of millions of Americans and helped unleash an entrepreneurial spirit that all of us still benefit from today," Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, said in a statement issued late Saturday.
The 1981 tax cuts signed into law by Ronald Reagan, which cut marginal tax rates from 70 percent to 50 percent, bore Kemp's name as a co-sponsor. Critics mocked the policy as "trickle-down" economics and pointed to the decade's growing budget deficits as evidence that supply-side theories didn't work, but it has been GOP orthodoxy ever since.
Kemp mounted an unsuccessful presidential bid in 1988, losing the Republican primaries to George H.W. Bush. But once in office, Bush made Kemp his secretary of housing and urban development -- a post Kemp used to promote what he called an "empowerment" agenda of tax breaks for urban businesses and expanded home ownership.
Unlike many of the other conservatives of his era, Kemp actively courted African-American support. In 1992, he told CNN's "Larry King Live" that the GOP "could be a Lincoln party in terms of attracting black and brown and men and women of color and low-income status and immigrant status who want a shot at the American dream for their children."

I laugh when when the liberal response to terrorists, like Mike Malloy here, calls Rush Limbaugh an "America-hater" and saying he hopes he chokes to death on his throat, and turns around and calls Republicans haters.Well,I would hasten to add that NO ONE hates America like the American Democratic Party, just look at people like Janenea Garofalo and Rose O`Donnell, and the only true hatred I hold for is for Democrats and liberals in general which is only growning everytime some loser like MalCrazy here opens his mouth. This is why I will NEVER vote Democrat-they preach love and intolerance, but all they practice is disgusting hatred and intolerance who oppose their views. It`s also why I tend to,anymore, consider liberalism and evil hand in hand. Not because of their views, but because of the vile disdain they hold for those not holding these same views.People like Malloy don`t even the deserve of scumbag loser, much less tolerant human.
You don`t get any less tolerant than Mike MalCrazy.NOR,Randi Rhodes, who called former 1988 vice presidental nominee Geraldo Rivero a "f***king wh*re",or Keith Olbermann the Pompous Peacock with No Cock, who spews his hate on his sorry ass and pathetic TV show LoserHour with Keith Olbermann,or Rachel MadCow,or Rosie O`Blimpy, demanding we show sympathy and kindness to terrorists being held at Gitmo down in Cuba [too bad we can`t throw HER ass down there,I think the exercise from all that horrible torture and waterboarding our terrible troops practice would be good for her after eating all those BigMacs in her 47 years alive.Plus she would be contributing in the fight against the biggest hoax of all time:global warming. But I digress.].And on and on.
Liberalism is the greatest form of hypocriosy we have on this Earth today. They only believe in love and tolerance UNTIL,you disagree with their policies and/or criticize the Messiah President Obama, then you are a monster, and believe you me you shall be treated as such. They oppose the death penalty, but they fullheartedly support partial-birth abortion. They want you to have the choose what`s best for your own body, but want to deny you the right to eat a taco every now and then. They oppose school vouchers and private schooling, but the current President sends his own children to private schools. They believe in the Bill of Rights, but consider the Second Amendment to be worthless. They campaigned against George W.Bush`s "failed policies," but many, not all,but many,of Obama`s policies are looking more and more of the same thing we`ve had for the past eight years.
Short and simple:liberalism is a dangerous, failed, intolerant, hypocritical theology, and must be abandoned.

Some in the Republican Party are happy about this. I am not.
Let's be honest-Senator Specter didn't leave the GOP based on principles of any kind. He left to further his personal political interests because he knew that he was going to lose a Republican primary due to his left-wing voting record.
Republicans look forward to beating Sen. Specter in 2010, assuming the Democrats don't do it first.

So says the far-left anti-American bitch,Janeane Garofalo,on Countdown on MSNBC with her buttboy the nerd Keith Olbermann, anyway. She stated, and I quote:"This is about hating a black man in the White House. This is racism straight up.That is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks."
This comment is absurd and ridiculous in the extreme. This is not about "hating a black man in the White House." I am honored to have been alive for that day,and to see such a moment in our nation`s history, when an African American broke the racial barriers that had seperated whites and blacks for centuries, and step into the office of the most powerful person in the world.I won`t lie,I despise Barack Obama with all my heart, and I would do just about anything to go back and change the result of the last election, but this has nothing to do with the man`s skin color, and EVERYTHING to do with his failed policies. What is racist about protesting unfair and extreme taxation on tobacco products? What is redneck about being against the crackdown on civil liberties that this President is implementing? What is racist about protesting the way this man is embarrasing Americans with class around the world when he gives back the bust of Winston Churchill to the British Prime Minister which was given to us to show their solidatary and support with us after the attacks of September 11th,2001,and then going over there away and giving the Queen an iPod and his graceless wife putting her filthy hands all over the Queen of England?
This is the first warning sign of desperate, lunatic fanatics and loons who realize deep down that their hero, the Messiah Obama, really has been a disaster thus far,and that this is the best argument they can come up with in rebuttal. This is laughinly pathetic and insane.Make no mistake, these people aren`t exactly as stupid as they seem, hard to believe, but it`s true, they are intelligent enough to realize that their guy is a joke and a clown, they`re just far too arrogant to get off their high horse and admit when they made the wrong choice.
Janeane Garofalo is nothing more than a hate-filled hypocritical cow who can`t even act and Keith Olbermann the Pompous Peacock is nothing more than a loser dork, both of whom spent the past eight years calling Bush Hitler and our troops babykillers while claiming it was patriotic to express dissent of the Administration, while they turn around and call protesters at the TEA Party "racist rednecks."Ridiculous.HOW ON EARTH do these two clowns have airtime?! Get these idiots off the air! Honestly! If these people are honestly the best that MSNBC can offer, than they really must be struggling to get by when their arses are being handed to them by FOX News.At this point,I think it`s fair to say that all hope has been lost for MSNBC,all one can really do now is sit back and watch the fireworks as this joke for a news network finally goes up in flames.

Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover was 11-- hardly old enough to know his sexuality and yet distraught enough to hang himself last week after school bullies repeatedly called him "gay."
The Springfield, Mass., football player and Boy Scout was ruthlessly teased, despite his mother's pleas to the New Leadership Charter School to address the problem.
Sirdeaner L. Walker, 43, found Carl hanging by an extension cord on the second floor of the family's home April 6, just minutes before she was going to a meeting to confront school authorities again.
"I am brokenhearted," she told ABCNews.com. "We worry about the economy and about Iraq, but we need to be worried about our
Walker, who works as a director of homeless programs, said Carl -- a slight child who loved his schoolwork -- had endured endless taunts since he started sixth grade in September.
School officials did not return numerous calls for comment from ABCNews.com.
The boy had been active in his church, taking communion on the recent Palm Sunday and playing a wise man in the Christmas play. He helped the needy and a black history program.
"That's the type of kid he was," Walker said. "You could rely and count on him."
Bullies Worse Than Breast Cancer
Walker said her son's 11-year-old tormentors were worse than the breast cancer she had survived four years ago.
In an ironic twist, the boy would have turned 12 on April 17 -- the same day students in thousands of schools across the country will participate in the annual Day of Silence to bring attention to anti-gay harassment in schools.
"There was no reason for the mother to believe he was gay," said Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network spokesman Daryl Presgraves. "It just happens he was someone his peers targeted, calling him, 'girlie,' 'gay' and 'fag.' According to the mother, it was a daily occurrence."

| Barry, stop using "the previous Administration" as your only talking point. It`s old and stale, and it won`t help you at all in the next election, because, technically, the previous Adminstration would have been YOURS.I remember during the Bush Administration the same lefties who moaned and whined whenever a Republican tried to point out so much so much as single fault of the Clinton years, the whacks on the left would come out in full force screaming at the top of their lungs,"Stop Blaming Clinton! Stop Blaming Clinton!" Yet another example of the hypocriosy and double standards that are the true ideals of the Democratic Party of the United States and, indeed, liberalism in general.Mr.President,and I use the term loosely,as I do not consider you at all to be legally eligible to claim that title,if "Blame Bush" is the only solution you have to the problems that this Country is in and you were elected to fix, than you and the entire Democratic Party of Congress might as well resign right now and call for special election, because that type of attitude will get us nowhere in this mess.If anything,it will widen the partisan divide in this country and will prove exactly how incompetent and unqualified you are to hold the office of President of the United States, both with the insane and unbelievable extent of your stupidity and your fake birth certificate. You promised us change in the last election? What change? All I`ve seen of this Administration is the same old nonsense from the average politician, namely, the average Democratic politican:say whatever it takes to get you elected, once you`re in office, immediately retract your promises, become a pathological liar, and blame the other guy.If you really care at all about the people of this country, which at this point I truly do not believe to be the case, than you`ll shut the Hell up and actually come up with something of SUBSTANCE,not this bullcrap you`ll be speaking at your rallies and your speechs with your teleprompters and your Bush-Bashing Conferences.Get off your ass and actually make yourself useful for once in your life.Take responsibility for your own Administration.

From NBC's Pete Williams An assessment of right-wing radical groups in the United States, done by the Department of Homeland Security, says the current economic and political climate in the U.S. may help extremists recruit more members.
The report, dated April 7 and distributed to police nationwide, was made public by a conservative blogger. Its main conclusions closely track with a much more detailed assessment done in February by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which identified 926 active hate groups, up from 888 the year before.
The Homeland analysis says threats from white supremacist and anti-government groups "have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry out violent acts." But it says they seek to expand their recruitment by trying to capitalize on:
-- insecurity brought on by economic troubles and loss of jobs -- the rise in illegal immigration -- fears of renewed efforts to limit gun ownership -- and racist reaction to the election of President Obama.
Law enforcement organizations agree with these broad themes, but say fear of rising immigration is the No. 1 motive driving these hate groups.
The DHS analysis also says these groups may seek to recruit returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan, to take advantage of their training. The FBI first called attention to that possibility last summer, but concluded that although around 200 military veterans have joined radical right groups since 9/11, "they have not done so in numbers sufficient to stem declines" in overall membership in these organizations.

| The best way to destroy the entire Bill of Rights:do away with one Amendment. And yes I`m talking about the Second Amendment. The suggestion that you can simply do away with a part or all of one of the most sacred parts of our independence and liberty is not only ridiculous but is also giving the power-hungry thugs in the Congress the impression that when you give one the power to dissolve one Amendment, you can just as easily rid of the rest of Amendments. When we begin to chew away at the Bill of Rights,is when this country is going back to the tyrannies of Europe from which we fought for our freedoms from, and will make the blood of those who died worthless. To take away our right to bear arms is not only limiting our means of defense,it is trampling on the Constituion. And,as I said, this ... AMERICAN president Barack Obama's half brother was REFUSED a visa to enter the UK after being accused of an attempted sex attack on a young girl in Berkshire.
The News of the World can reveal that Kenya-based Samson Obama tried to get into Britain on his way to Washington for his family's big day, the historic inauguration in January.
But eagle-eyed immigration officials at East Midlands Airport, using the latest biometric tests, discovered he was linked to an incident here last November. The hi-tech database revealed that Samson - who manages a mobile phone shop just outside Nairobi - was the same man arrested by British police after he approached a group of young girls, including a 13 year-old, and allegedly tried to sexually assault one of them.
He then followed them into a cafe where he became aggressive and was asked to leave by the owner. That's when police were called and Samson was arrested.
He supplied officers with his mother's address in Bracknell but gave them a false ID, claiming to be Henry Aloo, believed to be a genuine asylum seeker.
Mum Kezia, 67, has lived in Bracknell for six years. She married the US president's father Barack Obama Snr in Kenya when she was a teenager.
Following Samson's arrest he was fingerprinted but not charged, then left the country. However, all his details were stored on the Home Office's new database of prints and biometric details. And that's what finally pinpointed Samson's link to the world's most powerful leader - as he tried to slip back into Britain to visit relatives en route to the swearing-in ceremony
The White House was informed and a Home Office source told the News of the World: "This was obviously an extremely sensitive issue when it was flashed up by the database.
"But the system is designed to flag up people who have come to the attention of the police in the UK and are then trying to return."
It is thought that Samson - one of the President's 11 half brothers and sisters by his father who had four partners - managed to travel on to Washington by boarding a connecting flight to the US from East Midlands.
He was able to do so despite not having a UK visa because he remained in transit and never left the airport. A stewardess from nearby Nottingham told her local newspaper how she met him on his flight to America. Dawn Stewart, of Sherwood, described how Samson told her his nickname was Abo and said he was on his way to the US capital for the presidential swearing-in.
She recalled: "I asked him how he feels being the brother of the next president and he said, 'I can't tell you the depth of excitement we feel.'
"I asked what Barack was like as a teenager and he said he was always charismatic and calm."
The flight attendant said Samson claimed he had never travelled before and proudly showed her a headed letter from his half-brother requesting his three-week visa to the USA.
Last night a Home Office spokesman confirmed Samson Obama was refused a visa after immigration officers noticed one of the documents he supplied with his visa application was false. That led to further inquiries.
A UK Border Agency spokesman said: "We consider all visa applications based on their merits. We will oppose the entry of individuals to the UK where we believe their presence is not conducive to the public good.
"The UK's border controls are among the toughest in the world. All visa applicants are fingerprinted and checked against watchlists. Using this hi-tech system we have detected more than 5,600 attempts to use false identities since December 2007.
"Our officers in 135 countries are working with law enforcement agencies and airlines to clamp down on forged passports and visas."

The last I checked, the Caucasian group of Americans are just guilty of gun crimes as African-Americans,or any other race, for that matter, are. It doesn`t matter, whether you`re white, black,or Hispanic, the instant you kill an innocent man, woman,or child with a gun,you are guilty of murder and that`s all that matters. This has nothing to do with race and everything to do with gun rights. The liberals want you to believe that,if you take away the right to bear arms, the Second Amendment, than everything will be ok,no one will be able to kill anybody anymore. That is simply not the case.If they were really concerned with protecting the lives of all innocent people, than why aren`t they taken away knives? Why aren`t they taken away baseball bats? Why aren`t they taking our automobiles? Or our baseball bat? Because I tell you why, because the left doesn`t want you to have arms, they believe they`re dangerous and have no purpose in our society.Well, let me ask you another question. If just five people, had a firearm on hand on April 16,2007,at Virginia Tech, how many lives could have been saved? If just five people were armed on April 20,1999 at Columbine High School near Denver,Colorado, how many lives do you think could have been saved? If five people were armed on March 21,2005 at Red Lake High School in Minnesota, how many lives do you think could have been saved? If anything, all recent events prove is that once you deny the innocent the right to defend themselves you are putting their lives in greater risk and jepordy, not saving them, and that harsher gun control only worsens the problem of violence in our country and does nothing to improve the current situation. That is pure fiction and should be rejected as such. And I reject the notion that any group of people, race or political, deserve 100% of the blame for this recent and tragic surge in gun violence. Both extreme sides of the aisle have uttered rhetoric that have inflamed hatred and intolerance, and thus both sides are culprits in this sudden surge of violence in country.Political bigotry has provoked anger violence in people of all political backgrounds. Both sides are to blame.

| Great.NOW,the nuts in California are trying to ban big screen TVs in their state in their never-ending campaign of global warming fear-mongering and their screaming "it`s the end of the world" hysteria. The world is NOT going to end-RELAX! Live a little bit, enjoy life, and don`t worry about the end until you see a metor falling from the sky, only God knows the actual date of the end of the world, not the ones who scream in terror when you raise the thermostat by 3 degrees. And don`t worry about dyin`,either,at least not until you`re lying gravelly ill in a hospital bed with cancer or heart disease and the docs say you have however amount of time to live. And in other news,in New York, another hardcore liberal state, some are now trying to put a tax on soft drinks, simply because they don`t like people being fat.Can I just ask you people something? Why does my weigh affect you in anyway? What impact does it have on YOUR life? Don`t you think I and my... You would think that freedom to do whatever you wish with your own body would apply to eating as well, but sadly, that does not seem to be the case, not when it goes against the agenda of the liberals who seem intend on running everyone else`s lives. To the Liberal Democrats-PLEASE,PLEASE,STOP TRYING TO TELL ME HOW TO RUN MY LIFE! I am a 20-year old fully grown male,I think I should be able to decide for myself what foods I should and should not eat,or whether or not I want to have that big screen television in my living room.I don`t dictate to you what anti-war or peace rally you may ...
